click-throughs. Companies or individuals interested in sponsoring
Armageddon Online through the banner program should do so without any
performance expectations.
Update : 2/13/2006 - There are spots designated on this site for 'text' ads. This is something brand new we are trying out - and it's a fairly easy process.
The first step is to check out : http://www.textads.biz
They are the site that hosts and tracks all text-based ads. Two ways it can
be done : You can sign up an account with them, and chose specific sites
to run text ads on (or by category) or upon your paypal confirmation to our
site, we can set up and track them for you.
What we are implimenting right now is are 3 methods of text-based ads. Here
are the descriptions of the packages:
Timed Ads - Timed Ads are shown over a specific period of time:
-Weeks (1 min) @ $10.00 per week ( You can run a text of your choosing
for a minimum of 1-week or for as long as you'd like at $10 per week.)
CPM Ads - CPM Ads are shown X number of times before expiring
-Impressions (10000 min) @ $1.00 per thousand ( Meaning you can buy
a minimum of 10,000 impressions at $1 per 1000 impressions. Successful page
loads / impressions are all tracked and counted.)
CPC Ads - CPC Ads are shown until they have been clicked X number of times:
-Cost per click (50 min) @ $0.20 per click (Meaning you can buy a minimum
of 50 clicks for your text ad, and the ad will run until it has been clicked
that amount of times, at $.20 per successful click - invalid clicks or abusive
clicks are monitored by the textads site to prevent someone from simply clicking
it 20 times in a row and wrecking the process)
We will, however, not consider any adult / gamibling ads.
Sponsors will be accepted on a first come basis. Additionally,
Armageddon Online reserves the right to refuse sponsorships from
any sponsor not deemed appropriate for the site.
