Flash Floods Sweep Through Northeast - Pictures

Heavy thunderstorms moved through the New York City area earlier this afternoon, dumping heavy rain in Queens and on Long Island. Heavy rain has been spotty throughout metro New York today. The radar estimated rainfall total for Queens, N.Y. is 2 inches and more storms are forecast throughout the afternoon today.
