I had no idea this image of "BOB" was actually a real guy. Or that he had a whole dang church built around him! I always thought it was just some cool 50's art. I've seen a 1000 t-shirts with this guy on it with the caption "Marijuana. Hey! At least it's not Crack!" Hahaha, man thats funny stuff.

Very similar, although the ones ive seen look more "BOB" like, with the pipe clenched in his teeth like your Avey. Interesting read though, I had never heard of The Subgenius religion. Thats one I could stand behind!

P.S. do I really have to go to Tibet to get Frop? Are there natural instances of frop forming here in the states?

Bah. Sounds like too much work. Although the thought of Kidnapping a Tibeten holy man and forcing him to shite at gun point sounds fun. I just have to find a way to make him die from natural causes. :uh:

LOL. There is that. I live in the Hocmock swamp region,there has been plenty of bigfoot sightings. But wouldnt the frop be a bit swampy tasting? I guess i'll have to find out. I guess I'll go on a frop expedition into the swamp and see what I come up with.:vbroll: Then again, $30 sounds reasonable. Better be some super kind frop though!

I've "been a SubGenius" since 1997. I've never been to an X-day, but I have been to a couple devivals, and spraypainted Bob stencils on the back of a few street signs years ago. It's a great anti-religion, waking people up and making a mockery of orthodoxy in all its forms. Having been a Catholic up until the early 90's, the SubGenius made me laugh harder than those who weren't part of a contradictory, dogmatic faith. It's also made me a better Christian, and I now celebrate my faith and enjoy the energy of a Baptist/Gospel service.
