Understanding the Mark of the Beast.
Because of the times that we live in there has been a great deal of interest regarding the subject of the beasts. In light of this it would be a good idea to have a closer look at just what the scriptures have to say about this subject so that we may all get a better understanding of the subject.
There are two beasts, the greater and the lessor but the Mark is associated with the image of the beast.
Revelation chapter 13
[15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
[17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
[18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
From verse 15 we see that this image is given life but this is an image of the beast that has been made by men so it has to be a form of artificial life with artificial intelligence. Are we looking at some form of super or Bio computer system. One thing is certain in that its area of influence will be world wide. It will demand that all worship it as in submit to its authority, thus indicating that its influence will be exhibited in even the most remotest of regions. Probably through the world wide web and satellite links where no ground line is available.
Now from verse 16 and 17 we see that this image has two functions involved in the worlds economic system. Every person on the face of the planet has to receive its Mark as in get tagged. Without that Mark they will not be able to either buy or sell. In other words cash will be a thing of the past and no longer legal tender. The image of the beast will be in total control of all transactions and its Mark will tag you for identification in this system that it will control. You won’t even be able to have a garage sale of all your old junk without it making it happen and approving each and every item sold.
Through economic means it will have complete and total surveillance of all persons living on the face of the planet. Those who do not receive this Mark will not be worshiping this image and will be put to death. Their means of resistance will be taken away from them because they will be unable to either buy or sell which means that they are unable to earn a living or get paid any form of wages or have a place to live. They will be totally cut out of and off from civilization, and as civilization owns every patch of land on the face of the planet there will be no wilderness left to retreat to that will not be monitored or patrolled by those who have received the Mark and have all the resources of the state at their disposal.
It is from verse 18 that we get the number 666 from. Now you have all seen the bar codes on all the consumer products that are sold to day. You have all seen the number 666 embedded in them in the form of the first two bars, the last two bars and the two long bars right in the middle. All manufactured or packaged goods have received their Mark in preparation for this system. All that’s left to do is to issue the corresponding Mark to the recipients of those goods and the system will be in full swing. Cashless society with both consumers and products Marked for instant identification by the computing system known as the Image of the Beast that will be able to monitor and approve all transactions. Or refuse the transaction if you are not supposed to have possession of the item. This Image is also in the position to decide if it is even going to allow you to have any purchasing power in the first place, so you had better be nice!

[9] And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
[10] The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
[11] And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
[12] Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
[13] And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Now from these verses the following becomes quite obvious. God is commanding the people to reject this Mark and to not accept it.
He has gone so far as to leave no room for doubt that anyone that disobeys this command and receives this Mark will suffer an eternal punishment.
It is acknowledged that many of the people that choose to obey God and reject this Mark will die as a result, but there is also the promise given that they will be rewarded for their obedience. You have to keep in mind that from God’s perspective no one ever actually dies because of the resurrection at the end of the ages. Some to their reward and some to judgment and their punishment.
So the question has to be asked, Why is God the Father so set against this Mark and the system that it represents? Ok, Once implemented it will mean the total enslavement of the human race! But humans have been enslaved in times past and there was not this reaction.
The reason is that in this case it will be a complete and total enslavement of the entire human race with absolutely no hope of ever breaking loose of the shackles that bind you. How are you to mount a resistance when you are under constant surveillance 24 hours every day and unable to acquire any form of equipment with which to mount a resistance.
To add to that is the leadership of this one world slave state. The leadership is in open defiance of God and demanding that all worship it. These beasts will have total control over the earth and all its resources , thus giving it a power base from where it can extend its rebellion through out the galaxy. Is it any wonder that God cuts this new slave kingdom short with his bowls of wrath and battle of Armageddon. If you were in God’s place, could you allow such a situation to continue to exist unchecked?
What I find so perplexing is that we have all the warnings right in front of us in black and white for all to see but for some reason the nations seem to be going out of their way to allow this to happen and even aid in its fulfillment. Why even embed a 666 in the bar codes. Why embed anything at all? Just how blatant can you get?
