I don't think your thread was counter productive towards Rep points, at present I think their being used pretty much as intended, and shows a good response to each posters standing at AO, for both good and bad.

There's always going to be some partiality when it comes to opinions and friends, but I don't think its been misused in that area, like you said, I rep because I like what was posted, hell I even gave points to Illuminati Matt .LOL:0.02:
