It's about damn time. Maiden has been my favourite band since my early high school years and if there's one thing that I have to do, it's see them live. Fortunately, this will happen on February 12 2008. I've already purchased the tickets, right up in front of the stage.

So yeh, I just had to share and this thread is now dedicated to all things Maiden and other tour related stuff.

Shit yeah, I love Maiden, I also need to see them live. Never did.been a fan since powerslave or so. You dont get muscianship like that much now adays. These guys are pro all the way. You must be stoked man. I covet your tickets...........

Their last tour was purely form the "new" album they had, so I wasn't a fan of that Idea. I would be the same with ACDC or metallica lol - gotta play the old shit ya know :)

However I was at work last night listening to eddie trunk ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Trunk ) or some syndicated guy from new york, and he announced that they would be doing east coast / west coast and touring back and forth in the US. The good news was that it would be a 'poweslave' based tour.... featuring a LOT of the old shit.

If they set foot in Minnesota I will be there.
