Ghosts in the machine? (radio)

A couple years ago I was up late reading and had the radio on. I noticed a distortion in the radio.The voices weren't right. Then the two guys who were on the radio started commenting on what I was reading, the sound was distorted in a mettalic way, and i was startled beyond belief. I listened intently and the voices began laughing, then silienceAs quickly as it started the guys on the radio were back to chatting about something or other, and it was over.This has happenned to me a few diffrent times, always the weird distortion, and the radio announcers voice saying the oddest things, commenting on what i happenned to be doing at the time.No Im not schizophrenic.this really happenned.

That was actually the first thing that came to my mind. That or you were high on something. I'll be nice and assume you were sober.

You say this has happened a few times? You should keep a tape recorder (or something) next to your Radio. Next time it happens, hit record and see if it's something you can pick up on tape.
That'd be the first step to figuring out what's happening.

If it was just voices, I'd say you were picking up another station, or somebody's FRS conversation, a cell phone...etc. But if they are actually talking about you, then that's really bizarre... Unless your bedroom is bugged.

it is said that spirits operate on a high frequency of energy and can effect other things that can receive a transmission, tv's, radios etc. Theoretically speaking if there are such things as spirits and they are high frequency energies then it really wouldn't suprise me if they could affect such equipment.

However, I have experienced abnormal activity with other electronics in my home. My wife and I are convinced that we have two ghost children who follow us around, even when we moved a few towns over. The greatest case for this was a microwave which often turned on by itself at random times. We would holler for "the boys" to turn it off, and it would shut off. Even better, we would put something in the microwave, close the door and say "three minutes please", and the thing would turn on for three minutes without anyone touching a button.

Eventually this got so bad, with the random activations, that we unplugged the microwave and put it in the attic. Every so often we still hear it beeping and chirping, although it hasnt been plugged in for over a year.
