Anyone know anything about this? I've recently started looking into it and it seems intriguing. I haven't researched it properly yet but I have found many ebooks and such about it. It apparently has something to do with Angels and is also connected with this: http://www.wisdomsdoor.com/at/aethyr.shtml

A place you can start I guess is this: http://enochiana.tripod.com/enter.html
If anyone wants any ebooks or something on this matter pm me and I'll email them to you.
I'm not essentially interested in magic/wicca/whatever it's called but more of this aethyr realm conception. I know it all sounds silly and ludicrous but I propose that someone try this in the name of science:p Note us of your inquiries in the journey ;)
But seriously anyone here who can meditate or something (looks at Prez) and is willing to subjugate themselves to this? Come on...what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger:grin:

From my knowledge of Enoch, it's just as fictional as Eden. Meaning Enochian magic wouldn't be any different than Edenic magic.

Hey DarkAce you're quite the wannabe acolyte, aren't ya. :p While checking out you're Enochian Magic, I came across this in a note between two practitioners "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.". That's from Crowlie. So that's that.:chop:

What is it exactly that you want to know about it? I know you want to know about the Aethyrs, but is there anything specific that you want to know? You've gotten pretty much a background knowledge of Enochian ritual with some of the ebooks you have gotten im sure. Ill post links just in case, and hopefully they wont be redundant to what you already know.

I take it that you're a practitioner of Enochian Magic Raven? I recall you saying you're a Pagan. Have you ever witnessed anything that you would consider magical or supernatural?

I was just curious if anyone here had tried it or wants to try it and tell us if it works:p I myself would want to try it but since I'm skeptical I don't think I'd give 100% into it.

I know this whole spiritual journey thing seems far fetched but it's actually a big part of the eastern religions and I remember native americans believe in something similar to this also. I know people will say it's all in your head or something but that's why I proposed one of us try it;)

I dont nessecarily practice Enochian magic. When I started on the pagan path it was best that I read about the different ones. Enochian was one that I had studied a bit about.

The 2 incidents that stick out in my mind happened when I was living in an old Amish house in Pennsylvania. My daughter would lay in her crib and just babble and baby talk as if she were having a conversation with someone. I just gave this "person" the name Sarah. After getting everything settled in the house, I went into the attic. Needless to say the Amish leave things behind. Found a couple of 1700's bibles with family names in them and some pictures that a little girl named Sarah had drawn. It was more of a spooky coincidence.
The second thing that happened was, after moving in and getting computers set up, one of them that was sitting in the middle of the floor had no connection to a phone line or electricity, started to ring like one of those old wind up phones. At the time, my phones werent hooked up yet as the phone company had to come out and set up the lines. The Amish that lived there before had none in the house.
There have been times in my dreams that I would pick something up that was a prelude to me finding something out later on. Dreamt that my best friends husband was dying, later she told me about his cancer and that he refused to go to the doctor for treatment.

Mysticism is not just from the eastern people. The jews have the kabbala. The various american indian tribes used variations of a medicine wheel, not all. The early catholic churched had what was called the cloud of unknowing. All those would be western studies of magick. The eastern mystics weren't burned for heresy during the dark ages that is why they flourished and learned so much more then the weastern mystics.

You've got to learn a whole new "ANGELIC" language to work enochian magic. Plus it did not start with enoch it began in the 1500 hundreds or so. I looked into it and it seems to be much more trouble than it's worth, unless you like "visions" etc. when it "works".

Wow, it's been awhile. Thanks for the links liber, those websites were actually the first I had stumbled upon when researching enochian magic but the help is appreciated nonetheless.

I usually dabble in and out of the occult (apparently it's in my aries nature) and usually stop whenever I get in too deep. Atm I'm still in my "not touching/reading anything occultish" phase.

Sounds like someone trying to make a quick dollar to me...

If one wishes to have magic, then I can give you magic:

Vodun.

Now stop jumping to conclusions. I mean POWER VODUN.

The majority of magic is knowing one extra fact. (I.E. They trod on a well placed landmine when you just cursed them).

And the power of Vodun is the power of the mind. Not your mind - no psychic ability needed! What you need to do is make your target BELIEVE in the power of Vodun, and then trust in the two true powers of Vodun:

1. Hypochondria
2. Psychosomasis

This is the secret of the witch-doctor. If your target truly believes that your curse will harm them, then it will.

It is extremely difficult to kill people with Vodun, but it can be done. However, they will have to be a moron.
