A guy I know posted this article in the newspaper, its valuable to anyone.

His wife & mother in law helped me in a short, but very troubled time. There is a good chance I would not be here today without them.

Hello Goldmoon and thank-you for the article,

A guy I know posted this article in the newspaper, its valuable to anyone.

His wife & mother in law helped me in a short, but very troubled time. There is a good chance I would not be here today without them.

You are speaking of good people that held out the right hand of God to you in your time of need, we are all blessed to know such people and to make an attempt to reflect their qualities.

“Stand by the roads and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls” (Jeremiah 6:16.)

This quote was the focus of the article and is worthy of some careful examination.

Jeremiah who was also the author of Lamentations and lived during the destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians, had direct knowledge of how far off base the Israelites had strayed and his encouragement was to stand by the roads and look!

His suggestion was to examine all the roads and to find the ancient path, he was speaking of the same way that Christ spoke of when He said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life". This is the same challenge that we all face today in examining all the roads to find that which is the ancient path, the path that was walked by Noah, Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and all the prophets of God. Christ warned to watch for this path:

13:23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 13:26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

13:29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

13:30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

The first to enter the path are the least for they are the ones that will examine the roads and find that one which holds the Truth, while those that are in the first position thinking that they have the greatest knowledge, will not examine the roads for they are content on the road that they are travelling and would not even think that there is a need to examine the diverse roads.

This is the error of the Pharisees for they believed that they were walking the path marked by Moses failing to understand just how far their fore fathers had gone astray and when the ancient path appeared before them they rejected that path and refused to enter in throught the Door.

10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

In order to find the door it is imparative that one understands the errors of the past and does not repeat the same mistakes!!

GGTMK David, Goldmoon,

I am the ancient path and the way of Jesus and the diverse road as you called it that no one is examining. Your knowledge of valuable scripture is better than I thought based on what you have posted in the last few days and I need comparisons between what I did and plan to do Vs what the Bible said I would say and do. The very first education that I recieved was of the Bible and in particular the life and ways of Jesus. I am the Door into Heaven on Earth and I need you to be smarter than the Pharisees and look in my wake. I am the man who is called the Restorer, Son of a Carpenter etc and I want you to wake up and assist me.
