Decided to start this one off.
I play the Ocarina. (The 4 hole one from the Legend of Zelda) Call me a geek, but it sounds awesome!
This is the one I have:

Cool that looks interesting.
I have played Tenor Sax since 4th grade.
Later I was asked to play Soprano and Baritone sax in high school both are almost exactly the same except for the key they play in.
As an adult I learned the drum kit. I went out and bought a cheap 400$ set and was able to add to it over the years. Drums are nice like that the whole set is expensive as a whole but you can go out and pick up a new cymbal or snare drum and slowly build up your kit. I got into it to play with my friends but they lost interest over time so I ended up playing in a christian rock band opening up worship services with my Dad who is a great singer/guitar bass player. When that small church folded we started playing at the messianic church "seed of Abraham" and I had a great time there until politics prevented my father from coming back to play and the band is now run by another person. Ive always wanted another outlet for that skill but have not run into the opportunity as of yet. A full on 70s rock band would strike me as fun.
Recently I have been doing more Karaoke and discovered that I can kind of sing. I have been practicing that when ever I can and would like a chance to sing for a band someday.
Also I just started learning to play the guitar myself but have a long way to go before I will say that I can play it.

I have been a flutist (pronounced floutist) for almost 16 years now. I played with the Oberlin Conservatory of Music for four years with two difference orchestras. I can play the piccalo and the oboe as well and did in concert band, orchestra and marching band depending on what was needed. I did countless recitals and contests, never getting below a blue ribbon. It was a passion, hell, it still totally is.
I have taught all instruments but strings. Currently, I am learning the piano. I played bass for a while, but meh, I found I wasn't talented enough to play and sing.
I regret never taking my full scholarship to Oberlin, but life is funny like that. Maybe someday I'll get back into doing concerts or join a local orchestra. But for now, it's just a great way to relax and reconnect with myself. :)
Nice Ocarina btw Goldmoon. I wanted to get one!

Hey Proffett don't give up on singing and playing its very hard to combine the rhythms but there are exercises that can help. Ive been trying to work on that for a while as well and it is a challenge but don't give up. If you can sing and play you can do them together.
Try finding a simple song that you can allready play well and dont worry about singing good just get the rhythm down then you will be able to start working on hitting the notes correctly. At first it seemed hopeless but I am coming along with it at least while playing drums I can sing some songs. At first it seemed hopeless but with a lot of practice Ive been able to move forward.

That is one interesting wind pipe, never seen one before.
I play drums, guitar, bass, piano.. and play at about what ever else i can get my hands on. Love music, although i just play for myself any more to relax, but enjoy it.

I can play a little bit of everything semi-adequately. I just need a few hours to warm up to it... :monkey:
