Hello Strife,

These are words written by a very knowledgable and understanding man, he is no more a prophet then the prophet of the north. It is good to read through and understand what he is writing to form your own opinion but that is the extent of where I would take it. You as everyone already know the truth it is just a matter of following your own heart and not the desires of your body. Anger is a manifestation of the body, let it go and seek the truth of your heart.

Hi, just the right person I was looking foward to reply! I don't know whether to except what he says, or not, there's far too much confusion that wont help me decide the truth. Heart's can be diceived right? I'm mostly on the sitting fence on this, and at times I would lean to one side more than the other.

The question is why are you sitting on the fence?
You are obviously uncomfortable with something that is written.

The heart can be deceived but only for short periods of time when you are sincere, when you allow your own wants and desires to control you you can be deceived indefinitely.

From everything that is written there is something that can be learnedand all of us can and will be deceived at some point in time. That is why it is important to listen and watch, by paying attention and using critical thinking it is possible to find the truth behind any matter.

The most important thing in all is trusting yourself and your own judgment even if that means going in a different direction than that established by society.

If you have any specific areas in question please feel free to present them and we can examine them from all angles.

The reason why I'm on the sitting fence is because I'm not certain what to believe really. Let me take this back into my belief of Christianity as my preferred religion among the rest.

I used to believe or still do somewhat believe in Christ, the lord and savior. But then again, I'm agnostic. Why? Well there’s two sides, the atheist side and believer side. At times I would have a day when I felt really overwhelmed that there truly is a God, which made me feel comfortable. Then again, that warm feeling that I get is just probably my mind with it’s wishful thinking, not real. So I basically kid myself, which I find embarrassing.

In my opinion, atheists seem to get there arguements across much better than believers. There’s far more information available to see why one would become atheist, rather than be lead into a religion that seems to deprive you away from your own logical belief. Another thing though is our comparison to “sheep”. No one likes to be called a sheep as it is mentioned in the New Testament by Jesus, so I guess you can say I’m somewhat insulted by that, hehe. :vbroll:

I guess I’m just missing more to satisfy the completion of ‘truth’.

And remember too Strife, that just because you don't believe in religion, doesn't mean that you can't still believe in "god".

While there is good in it too, refusing to wholly accept man-made doctrine is not against there still being a creator..

Think of it, if you and your wife/girlfriend/husband/boyfriend, were the last people on Earth, and you were both forced to hide out and repopulate, in 500 years "religion" and "god" would be very much differently perceived then any other version of religion before it....You and your family, while probably sharing similarities with religions like Christianity, would have created an entirely new spiritual and religious reality.Each generation would build on the foundation of your initial faith and conceptions..

In some ways, this is how the first major religions were founded..While the people who wrote the bible(s) were indeed very intelligent, talented, and perhaps "divinely" inspired, they were no more exalted then ANY OF US...Put into the situation i think that all of us are geniuses and biblical scholars capable of things that the mundane world does not want to allow us to see..

Many religions were used as tools of the elite for means of furthuring their own wealth and political/territorial gain..-Sadly, even Christianity killed millions in Crusades, Inquisitions, and the slaughter of the Native American and Mexican Indians. The KKK and Hitler worked for Christ too..Their versions of Christ..

While Jesus Christ is really from a root of the Greek leader of gods in Zeus, it's true meaning should be that Jesus=He's Us..We must all find a truer balance within ourselves in harmonious attunment.. Buddha said If you tighten it too tight it will break, if you make it too loose it won't play, you must seek to tune the instrument (self) just right to play the sweetest of song s (life).

Prayer is good..We must all find our most elevated and inspired selves. Balanced by love and compassion for life, and turning our senses away from greed, habit, anger, violence, primal lust and other objectives that seek to keep us from our higher path..We all meet on these on these higher grounds of realization, imagination and creativity..We must unlock and discover the majesty that is the true essence of soul, and how we are all connected not only on the human plane, but the "heavenly" levels as well..

You are there because you have not seen what you are looking for, wait and be patient; keep looking for when you see it you will recognise it and know that it is right.

The truth is out there and you will recognise it because it has been written upon your heart and mind.
