To believe that "Nasa" pic, youd have to be a total dumbass.
Nasa may be here only for reliablity and information, but they do have a graphic department. Look at that logo, oversized and out of place looks like to me.. Like anyone just took the logo and did a good old Ctrl C Ctrl V. The striking points seem completely unprofessional, the colors to them make no sense. If it were official the colors would go darkest to lightest or opposite to show how much damage and which areas are going to be hit hardest. Too bad it look like someone just thought the colors looked pretty and put them up. Completely unreliable.

"There was some question as to whether it was a piece of space junk burning up, but it was not," said Geoff Chester, a spokesman for the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C. "As far as I've been able to figure out, it was simply a rock falling out of the sky, as they are wont to do on occasion."

None of us really know if the photo is real or not but I know this. In NBC School (Nuclear,Biological, and Chemical), you're taught how to do impact forecasting and to map out the differing zones. The impact sites on the photo have color coded zones, in the right amount. The only thing missing is the Downwind forecasting, which would almost be impossible to map at this early date. Whoever added the impact zones to the map, knows about impact zoning. With the internet and a little knowledge of cosmic impacts, the person behind the photo could have faked it. My hat is off to him/her for their research if its fake. :respect:

All of his theories are flawed, ESPECIALLY the theory on the supposed collision with Earth. Besides the fact the man doesn't know the difference between an asteroid and a meteorite (which is clear because he keeps changing his stance on it), he doesn't take into consideration how minute the possibility of these two objects colliding. These aren't planets, they're small rocks flying through space. The probability is so remote, it would be like throwing a ball bearing 50ft up in the air and then trying to hit it with another ball bearing. On top of that, there is absolutely NO way to predict the trajectory of one of the comets AFTER collision. That can only be done with perfect spheres. There are too many factors to take into consideration to be able to predict, with any accuracy, where one will end up. Let's not forget that a collision at their velocity would probably obliterate both of them.

Someone took a normal satellite image probably found on NASA's website and added Aussie Bloke's impact areas to it. This past weekend we celebrated :toast: my little boys 10 year :Bday: I didn't worry about any asteroid impact or even the storms that are happening across the country. We are actually more concerned with the lack of rain then anything. I have though noticed that the sunset was unusually brown/red. It has given me the chills.
