Staff members are excluded from the ignore list for a good reason.
As we may incidentally have some statements that may actually be important.
And offenders cant miss public warnings.
So I severely doubt someone is going to make an ignore mod utility for the forum software for that reason.

Most people use the ignore option for when comments are directed at them, in the case of simply disagreeing you can still ignore them... with you own free will.

What the hell for? He doesn't pick on anyone.
You could always do this:
Every time he posts to you, quote his post, and then underneath it post the following:

I'm not listening! Not listening!!!
For you, however, perhaps we should post this?

That look about right?

Rather not, It would severely derail threads and such.
And such type of posting is, like mass necromancy and yelling first post a form of spaming.

I keep trying to put Jesus on my ignore list, but he keeps talking to me through his Earthly servants, and doing annoying things like this:

now that man was not having a good day. But it could have been worse..the chute could have failed to open at all and he could have fallen straight down. I hear of people surviving shit like that though and it blows my mind.

There have been mods. fired here, but so far as I have seen, Lycanox has been fair and balanced, even with the seemingly unbalanced.
You're a valuable member of the chorus here, but if a mod. needs destroying, please give an example of something.

perhaps you should try to - I myself am somewhat anti religious but this does not stop me from gathering information on the enemy, so to speak ...
when you deliberately choose ignorance for peace of mind you have become a sheep.
when you demand the priviledge of enforced ignorance for peace of mind you are a Republican ...

If I may. Over at Amkon we can ignore the mods. The mods can also ignore users. If anything serious ever arose other folks can always send message to the proper people by proxy. Granted thats their way of doing things. I understand this place being yalls playground. I just thought I would relate a story where such a policy is in place.

The thing is, if mods were ignored and vice versa, then there's nothing stopping them from breaking the rules such as harassing other members. I know there are multiple mods, but we don't scan this site 24/7, think of it as "shifts" since some of us are in different time zones.
If you simply disagree with an opinion of a user over a topic, that's not really a good enough reason to ignore them completely. Now a user that seems to have something against you, that's a good reason.

Meh... I was just relating a story about a different beast was all.
Like I said thats how they do things. How yall do things and how they do things are two different things. I just wanted to point out that the concept itself is more than just theoretical .... but just because it is done does not mean that kind of posting style is for everyone.
