Yes, lets put the world back to work and forget about US workers! Thank you Congress and President Obama for a job well done!

"Of the more than $2 billion the federal government has given out to boost the economy and create green-energy jobs, more than three-quarters has gone to foreign-owned companies that dominate the global wind-power industry.

"The Reporting Workshop’s initial analysis of wind-energy grants was released in October and outraged some lawmakers. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., cited the group’s report — and news that $450 million in stimulus money might go to a group installing Chinese-made wind turbines in Texas — when he asked the secretary of energy to deny federal financing to firms that use foreign-made turbines.

A-Power, based in northeast China, is part of a group building a wind farm in western Texas using turbines it is manufacturing in China. This is the project that affronted Schumer after the group announced plans to collect $450 million in stimulus grants.

In a letter, Schumer asked Energy Secretary Steven Chu to reject requests for stimulus grants from companies that buy key components abroad.

“In all due respect, I remind the secretary there is a four-letter word associated with the stimulus — J-O-B-S,” Schumer told ABC News. “Very few jobs here, lots of jobs in China. That is not what I intended or any other legislator who voted for the stimulus intended.”

Thanks, Freddy.

I thought 'share the wealth' meant within the United States.

Not only foreign companies are getting porkulus though. Howzabout foreign landowners... like the Gasperi family, in St. Croix, Virgin Islands ?

Yep, with the Park Service upkeep-backlog at almost 10-billion, and before a Park Service study of the purchase is even completed, nothing like spending 50-mill on a park hundreds-of-miles offshore, that only the elite can visit.

I wrote in another thread that Schumer should be the Senate Majority-Leader. - US President actually, if the Dems hadn't have been blinded by liberal kool-aid in the post-'04 election aftermath, on-the-road-to-'08.

It just gets better and better every day. So our children will have to pay for people in other countries to have jobs while they struggle for scraps here in the good old USA. Nice.

I had invested a while ago in several small US based solar panel companies. All have had their stock drop by more than 90% since Obama has been elected, or have gone kaput. I had been betting Obama would make these companies the new fad... but it obviously has not happened. I just recently was shown a news article about how not only the US, but several European nations, have discontinued or plan to drop support for solar panels. This means no renewed tax credits, subsiidized panels, etc.

I have a union job for every person on the planet who is qualified to work. Foreigners practically own America already.
