Hahahahaha LOL!

Guys, the topic was there, the story was there - I just couldn't resist. I hesitated, because I was afraid I would not be believed, or made fun at. It's a true story though, but not worth a separate topic...

I believe it's coincidence. Or it's reincarnation. I don't know.

Smersh999

Yes but Dutchie I think it <strong>is</strong> now worth a separate topic because this cat story has taken on a whole life of it's own. The "What's the Strangest Thing you Ever Experienced" thread now has 101 posts, nearly half of which are now about Dutchie's cat

You do realise Dutchie I hope, that now your cat (or ex cat?) has its own thread we will all need to be kept totally up to date with the daily developments as they happen ...

- Sigh -

I said this in the other topic as well: My cat's name was "spook", which is Dutch for ghost. We called it that because it was all snowy white and walked without a sound.
Again: I am not making this up: I could understand lots of you guys and girls are beginning to have doubts about this, now let me tell you: SO AM I (in a slightly different way, I might add...).

Yesterday morning I went to work at 7.00 AM as usual. I decided to use my motorcycle. It was cold (-2 C), but not raining. My motorcycle (Honda VFR 800 fi for anyone interested) was parked behind my house in the parking space over there. The cat was lying on the saddle, curled up and sound asleep. I decided to bring it back - hesitating because it was so early in the morning - and bended down to lay my helmet on the floor. When I looked up again it was gone. It was nowhere, vanished.
When I arrived at work, I phoned the folks where the cat lives (around 8:30 AM). I asked if the cat had found its way back home, worried about it being deaf. She reacted very surprised: the cat had been on their bed all night. It had laid there since 01:00 AM, and was still lying there...

Of course there's a perfectly reasonable explanation here...

Dutchie? So Ok, if this latest wasn't the cat next door, then it was either a reflection and you mistook it for your cat or you need to give Cat Busters a call. :o They might be able to get rid of it real quick. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=" >D">

About Dutchie’s Cat. . .

I thought about this issue, Dutchie, with your cat, for a good while. As I have stated before,
YES, I do believe in Reincarnation. Like it or not, THIS CAT (that seemingly) belongs to your neighbors,
ACTUALLY BELONGS TO YOU. YOU may not understand at this time WHY this cat chose to come back to you, BUT the FACTS that you relay in stating that it HAS conveys a sense that its’ purpose is much higher. . . With time, [the reasons why] will make itself quite evident to you. . .
You see, “for the higher purpose” the cat had to reincarnate into the offspring of a cat nearest to yourself in a form that you would readily recognize, IN THIS WAY “the higher purpose” as to WHY the cat still plays so prominently in your life WILL NOT BE LOST TO YOU. Of course, naysayers and jokesters aside, some might see good folly in this. Even I myself might find certain aspects of this a tad funny, BUT I cannot be dissuaded that there has to be something LARGER HERE that we seem to be missing. . . After all, a cat that keeps showing up at your door is one thing; BUT a CAT with the ABILITY to BILOCATE IS quite another. .

You can A; Choose to ignore these strange occurrences, (or)

You can B; Focus upon the “whys”--Only YOU can answer this, and ONLY for the time being,
The true answer may evade you; BUT DO NOT give up the “SEARCH” (for answers)

You can C; As you said before, You are doing better now with more money to spend- - -Offer the “temporary” owners a slightly exorbitant amount for the cat, After all, it IS YOUR CAT, ANYWAY. . .

I say the last part of that because I am certain that that cat will always be there for you anyway, might as well BUY the precocious feline and make it official

Yup, me again, Joe (Bigsky770)

<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>Of course there's a perfectly reasonable explanation here...
Perhaps you've been taking advantage of your country's relaxed cannabis laws. Or maybe it is a ghost. Or an alien. From a parallel universe. But it is NOT bloody reincarnation.

<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>TS64: What's Cat Busters???
Maybe you should stick with Smersh's answer about the parallel universe. Haven't you ever seen the movie Ghost Busters? They go around hunting for ghosts and seeing as yours involves a cat, um, maybe they could solve your mystery. If it really was your imagination and your only dealing with the cat next door, I suggest trying to ignore it and hopefully it will give up and go home.

No, although I do believe that the laws Re; the use of Marijuana need to be relaxed, I have not "indulged" myself in this pastime for a good many years. . . (I'm just naturally crazy this way, if you prefer to think of me this way, it does not cause me the slightest bother. . .)

I have my beliefs, (as you have yours) and in this I will grant you due respect. . . BUT you cannot discount so readily the possibilities!:)

Mike, I haven't smoked a ciggy for 1.5 years and I haven't smoked any hashish for 14 or 15 years. I am not on drugs or pills. I do enjoy a good glass of wine and the occasional whiskey and grappa.

I am not religious. I believe things AFTER they have been shown to me (under bright light). I believe in proof.

If you had experienced what happened to me, you would doubt too....

BTW: ghost, alien, parallel universe are all OK by you but reincarnation no way jose. Why's that??? To me they're all BS.

dutchie
Oct 29th, 2003, 6:50 AM
Joe Bigsky (you took that name from a Kate Bush song??),

I am not convinced that my neighbors cat IS my cat. It looks exactly the same, it is of the same bloodmix, it has the same eyes, it's deaf. But it is a young cat, while my cat is dead.

Thing is: It wasn't just my cat, it was also my wife's cat, and my two daughter's cat. It loved them just as much, sat on their lap just as often. If the new cat is in fact the same as the dead cat, why does it choose ME to follow and not my wife or kids? If reincarnation exists, the new cat would not be able to remember its previous life, now would it?

The funny thing here: when I chose the bike to go to work, it was like it knew before. The times I chose the car it was on the roof of the car; now I chose the bike and it was on the saddle. That's funny/strange/weird whatever.

BTW I have offered € 500 ($570) for the cat, which is about 20 times its value. They won't sell. I cant very well go out and nick it...

As for the answers to the WHYs.... I do not have a single clue.

BTW2:
No close encounters of the third kind yesterday nor today...

Bigsky770

Dutchie, Who is Kate Bush? In all honesty, I thought up the "moniker" myself, just a shortened version of my
e-mail address, Bigsky770@aol.com- - (oops!) perhaps should'nt have given that one away) anyhow, "Joe" is my REAL name, if you notice, I do include parenthesis around about it.
I HAVE my reasons as to "WHY" I cannot "close" my mind to the possibilities of "reincarnation", - - -It would probably be too lengthy and would not want that I should bore you to tears.
Suffice to say there are instances that have been documented where memory of past life can endure EVEN WITHOUT "Hypnotic Regression" sometimes the "Memory" of which can persist, than again, in other cases, whereas the FINAL END for the past life was SO VIOLENT, there are also cases I've read where the-so-called "slate" is "wiped clean" (as it were). In some of these cases, Hypnotic Regression can bring to the fore previously unknown past lives/circumstances that the "present" incarnation could have no-knowledge of.

PLEASE try to keep an "open" mind
Joe (Bigsky770)

P.S.- - Sorry that you cannot purchase this feline. . .
(still truly believe it belongs to you)

Dutchie,
By your own admission, you are a down to earth person who needs things to be proven in front of you "under bright lights". Your cat's name was spook. The whole thing is spooky. Coincidence? Ahh the synchronicity of it all. Maybe this is God's way of showing you a little bit of his magic. Might help you to believe that there are things that just happen and that coincidences have meanings through perception and faith. You can't say that this experiences hasn't made you think more about reality and it's possibilities. Like a jury when asked to pass judgement on the defendant. If there is the slightest doubt then you must presume innocence. If you have the slightest doubt about reality then give the universe the benefit of the doubt." An open mind absorbs the most"

Has the appearance of this cat altered your day to day routine in anyway? I've always been under the impression (From books and movies) that when a deceased being returns its usually to communicate a message of some sort.

<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>Then I saw it was not our cat: this one was much much younger. She had a collar with a tag. The adress was one street behind ours
Dutchie, this is what you originally said. I am convinced that the cat you saw then was the neighbours cat! It has a collar with a tag and the street address! It is HIGHLY coincidental that the cat just happens to be the SAME BREED as your beloved spook! There is nothing strange about a neighbour having a similar (exactly the same) breed of cat that you had. AS for this latest sighting, it was either your imagination in over drive with all this talk about the cat or it was indeed the ghost of your cat sitting on your motorbike ready for a ride.

<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>when a deceased being returns its usually to communicate a message of some sort.
What kind of a message could a cat be trying to send? If the cat on your bike was the ghost of spook and not your imagination or a visitation from the cat next door, PURRhaps it is merely trying to let you know that there is a spiritual world, even for cats.

Popcorn anyone?

To TS64:

The houses in the street behind ours have gardens that have a gate that lead to the same parking space as I live in front of. If in doubt I could make a drawing for you or post a map of our neigbourhood. So the people with the cat don't live nextdoor, but in a sense we're neigbours. The space between their and our house is about 150 meters: the cat has to go through their back door and garden, over the gate, across the parking space, over my gate and through my garden to reach my house. Get it? I found it easier to refer to those people as "neighbours" rather than "the couple living in the Groenhoevelaan, about 150 meters from my house in the Dorpsstraat".
As for the rest of your remarks: I'm confused about what you think about the coincidence of the breed: you think that is not coincidence or that is a big coincidence? Your two sentences are somewhat contradicting eachother: <blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>It is HIGHLY coincidental that the cat just happens to be the SAME BREED as your beloved spook! There is nothing strange about a neighbour having a similar (exactly the same) breed of cat that you had.
To Joe BigSky

Kate Bush is a great singer from Britain. She had big hits with songs like "wuthering heights" and "cloudbusting".
I have some knowledge from hypnotherapy and regression. Regression does not necessarily mean going back to a past life, you can also just go back to your youth. With the larger part of people regression to a past life doesn't work. I read a book on this subject and some of the examples are stunning. The use of regression to a past life is however small... Most of the time it has no meaning at all for your present life. Remember this is according to the books, not to my personal beliefs.

<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>PLEASE try to keep an "open" mind
I am not known for my lack of that, Joe. It's just that I'm still not convinced. Purchasing the cat didn't prove to be an option, but I can't say I'm too sorry about that, for some reason I am not sure of...

To AngelTV

But it's precisely this that made me post the story in the first place. Doubting reality in the slightest way....

To VR

Yes: it has altered my day to day routine: I'm posting in this forum about it, to name something. But clearly, each morning I'm having a good lookaround, before departure to work.
The cat's communication so far has been nothing but friendly. It does not radiate anything frightening, or unnerving. That is why I'm still doubting that it has anything to do with my dead cat.

Popcorn?? I'd rather have some gorgonzola on french bread with a good Barolo...:D

I'm saying Dutchie that there is nothing strange about the neighbours having exactly the same cat as what you had. The same breed. The odd eyes etc. Coincidental yes, but nothing strange that one could call it reincarnation.

Also are you suggesting that the cat that you picked up, and took back to its owners really doesn't belong to them?

<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>I am not convinced that my neighbors cat IS my cat. It looks exactly the same, it is of the same bloodmix, it has the same eyes, it's deaf. But it is a young cat, while my cat is dead.
I gotcha, Dutchie. . . You may not mind who the cat is with, especially since you seem to be aware that it is with people who will care for it. . . (and if not, this cat KNOWS where to go!) - - Which is cool.
As for Kate Bush, I'm not much-up on musical trends as they happen in the U.K. (sorry to say) I'm afraid there could be so much here "We in the States" could be missing as far as musical talent is concerned. . . WE get some new stars (once in awhile) from over there, but much of the market is "saturated" with that which usually originates here- - -

Here in Holland Halloween is celebrated in only very limited circles. I do not believe in ghosts. The cat is not my cat, it's my neighbours cat (neighbours as in 150 meters from where I live, before anyone asks).

What is weird??
a) It was born the moment my old cat died;
b) It has exactly the same appearance
c) It is deaf
d.1) It appears at a moment when it should be locked in somebody else's house
d.2) It does that trick at precisely the same moment every time.
e) It hasn't been hit by a car so far, in spite of the fact that it's deaf.
f) It seems to know beforehand which vehicle I am chosing to go to work.
g) It shows affection toward me. And not in a small portion.

Yes, it bends my reality more than a bit.

Last update: none really... I got a phonecall from the owners. All is well. They plan to have a vacation around christmas - would I be interested to look after the cat? I said Yes.
Yesterday evening my wife said that she wouldn't be surprised when we meet the cat in our own house, next time... She admitted that she's beginning to have some serious doubts about this situation in a sense that she thinks that something supernatural might be going on. I'm not convinced...

This weekend nothing shocking. My little daughter Eva (Dutch for Eve) had her first encounter with the new cat. She'd heard all of my stories about it and decided to take a look for herself (she's 8 eyars old). So she put on her little coat and went outside. "To play" she said. Later she told us she went straight over to the house of the owners of the "new" cat. She rang the doorbell and the woman opened. The cat rushed passed her and went straight to my daughter, meowing and brushing her head to her leg. My daughter lifted the cat up and took a very close look at it.

When she came home she was all in tears. She's absolutely CERTAIN this is our "spook". She came even with a detail that had escaped my attention, and really gave me goosepimples. When spook was about 3 years old, a stone vase dropped on the floor next to her when she was asleep. The vase caused a small tear in her left ear (about 3 mmm). This "new" cat had exactly the same tear at exactly the same place...

I haven't seen it yet, but judging by Eva's extreme emotional raction, there is something extremely funny going on here...

Both of you are right. No, Eva does not remember anything else about spook, but she's bloody convinced. She told me she is willing to empty her savingsaccount to buy the cat. My other daughter is getting curious too (sh.t!!)...

Anything new with the kitty Dutchie?

dutchie
Nov 19th, 2003, 9:08 AM
Weeeell, nothing much worth mentioning.... I see the cat about four times a week and I stopped bringing it home. If the owners are that careless about keeping their place well shut, I can't help them. Besides, I get a bit tired getting to work too late.
It still behaves very affectionately (it tries to jump into my car, when I'm not using the motorbike...) and I still would like to buy it very much. I will look up a photograph of my old cat and post it here shortly..

We have pictures of it through the internet, it comes from Belgium and we can collect it in about 10 weeks from now. It was born nov. 5, and I think (maybe) we'll call her either Noor or Isis.

Yes, although there were some tears, this made it a lot easier!!

Annabelly, thnx anyway!

(jeez, those cats are expensive!!! but hey, who cares? you only live once!)

OK this'll probably be the last post on this subject...

People, promise me that you won't shed a tear over this, because I have done just that, more that sufficiently this weekend.

The owners of the "new spook", have collected their deceased cat from the vet, and brought it over to me, to be buried in my garden on the spot where the old cat - no longer - lies.

We placed her on a white towel in a cardboard shoebox, surrounded by fresh flowers. My daughters touched her for the last time and we loweredher in the grave i dug for her on the spot where spook lied. We all cried. I filled the grave and we placed some large flagstones on it. I have laminated two pictures: one from the old spook and one from the new. I hung both pictures on the gardenwall above the grave.

Last night the breeder of my new siamese cat phoned. She had the feeling that we were so enthusiastic about our new kitten that she would make an exception to the rule that no-one could visit her (that might carry some germ) and invited us over to see our new kitten in Belgium, 13 days from today. That was a relief. Normally we would have to wait until the end of january.

Presently I'm at work, so I can't post a pic of the kitten, but tonight I'll make it up to you.

My kitten is the one at the bottom left. Of course is doesn't have red eyes, but sapphire blue: the red is caused by the flash.
Its full name is Koh-i-Noor, which is a big fat diamond, now residing in the crown of ol' Queenie of England. The name is persian and means "Mountain of Light". We will call her Noor.

Say Dutchie,
Got an idea? Why not (if possible) get both? I'm a true beliver that cats are better in pairs, (they get lonely too) and do better with siblings. Either two of the same sex, (or) spay/neuter if different. This I say because it will put an end to the prob. of the
"inbreeding" possibility.

besides, as they grow, you'll enjoy watching their "antics" as cats seem to have a unique ability to run around small rooms so fast that they can actually run on walls. . . (neat to watch)

You might want to consider de-clawing (front paws ONLY) if you're going to make "housecat(s)"

Unless you're like me and enjoy the wonderful artwork they've carved of my Living-Room furniture. Currently they are attempting to make a "bust" of Abraham Lincoln of the Barcolounger; (They're doing his "beard" now):rolleye:

dutchie
Dec 1st, 2003, 5:27 AM
de-clawing is NOT an option. I hate mutilation of animals: if you don't want claws, don't take the cat.

The kitten set me back some € 500 ($600) and two of those is a bit steep: it's not that I could not afford it, but more that I just don't want two cats again and I'm not willing to lay down that much money for cats. Sorry to burst your bubble, if there was one.

Of course I LOVE cats - it's my idea to take a new one, but the last ones were free - but I love a nice vacation too..

VegasRonin
Dec 1st, 2003, 7:33 PM
Six hiundred bucks?! I have a cat, and it was free. There's always someone giving away kittens around here. Why did ya have to pay so much?

DerekN
Dec 2nd, 2003, 12:33 AM
I got my cat for free too. I can't see paying that much for a cat. I might cough it up for a dog that I could breed, but definitely not a cat.

dutchie
Dec 2nd, 2003, 2:51 AM
It's a purebred with a pedigree, or family-tree. Those are expensive. I'll explain how we got to buy it: I was reading a book from library about cat's characters. Now the siamese cats are sometimes called the "dog you don't have to walk" because they're one of the few breeds of cats that will not only attach themselves to your house solely (as most cats do) but also to its inhabitants. Birmese cats do that too and some Abessinians. Abessinians BTW are said to be the "ur"-cats, the same ones you can see as old egyptian statues of Bastet, the cat-god and the first breed to be used as a pet.

Now the character of the siamese was SO MUCH like the character of my old Spook (yes I know, I never learn) that I immediately fell in love with siamese. They also have a very, er, "royal" appearance, which I am very much attracted to.

Add that all up, and you have a big fat drooling idiot (me) forking out € 500 willingly....

Oh well, it's for the next 14 years at least, so "per year" it's a reasonable price.... I kid myself....:Ohwell:

Bigsky770
Dec 2nd, 2003, 3:05 AM
Don't think about the money, as long as YOU'RE HAPPY! (can't put a price on that, for you or your family)
I'm sure it'll prove well worth it. . . . .

Yes, it's on track again, and I can add some more weirdness to this thread...

You know I told you that we buried the "new" spook on the spot where the "old" spook was buried? It's amazing that the new owners agreed to this: they even suggested it themselves, because they were as much amazed by these events as we were...

Now yesterday night I came home late from a visit to a friend. When I got out the car, the owner of the "new" spook came up to me, startling me a bit (it was 23:20 and very dark in the parking) and told me - very excited - that they had bought a new cat. I told him this was a coincidence: we bought a cat too!! He asked me about it, and I told him it was a chocolate tortie-point siamese.

The guy was totally knocked off his socks: he'd ordered EXACTLY the same cat!
Now, let's talk about synchronicity.........:slcow:

You mean to tell me you don't believe me?? Can't blame you, I can not believe it either, it's too much coincidence going on here. Wished you would have been there on the parking with me and this guy. We were really laughing our heads off over this. I even told him I was discussing this whole thing on an internet forum (didn't tell him what is was though...).

If this is getting too much for all of you, trust me, it's getting too much for me as well. Although there is a perfectly reasonable explanation: these people lost their cat in an accident and just bought one, exactly like ours in a cattery somewhere in the north of Holland.

If you decide not to believe me, I can understand, but I don't like it.

BTW, I think my life has not been boring at all so far. Interesting? Dunno, was yours?

SJGee
Dec 10th, 2003, 4:34 AM

dutchie
Dec 10th, 2003, 4:47 AM
thnx, SJ. But when I do get the impression I am no longer believed I'd rather quit posting about it. Don't forget there was a good period between the death of first Spook and second (over a year) and ordering the Siamese took me also more than a month.

Personally I believe that the coincidence about the same cats being ordered is comparable to two cars of the same model being bought. Now for most people that would seem less of a coincidence - and more acceptable and believeable, while the number of makes and models of cars is far greater than that of commercially available breeds of cats...

Bigsky770
Dec 10th, 2003, 6:05 AM
What I meant by that last post. What I MEAN is, Has THIS
CHANGED (perhaps) the way you view the POSSIBILITY of
REINCARNATION? (if even only for a CAT?). . ..
YOU may have taken my last reaction "as incredulous" but this was not my intent. When you convey many of these happenings it seems as though your attitude is one of being "dissconnected" somehow from the events, like, well, its' no-big deal.
"So what? another coincidence" and I'm like "wow, I can't figure this guy", - - not like I want you to go to the town hall, ring bells, and shout at everyone. You should (and I hope you are) keeping a "diary" of sorts about the detailed history of this. Perhaps if you were to go back and "read" it you would see just how significant these seemless coincidences are, in that they are trying to tell you something. But, for God's sake, DO NOT stop posting about this. .I am sure there is meaning in this for all of us.

I can find OTHER reasons to :wine: (hic) drink. . . . . .

Still Buds? Joe (Bigsky770)

Dec 10th, 2003, 7:09 AM
Ah. Well, goes to show how easily the net can lead to all sorts of misunderstandings... Still buds? Yeah, of course!! Glad to have you on the forum, Joe - you're quite a refreshing change...

My feelings about reincarnation??? And coincidence??
OK, for a down-to-the-ground dutchman, clogs and kneedeep into salt clay like me :nudge: it's HARD to take these things into a metaphysical approach... I'd rather WANT to believe these things to be coincidence than to believe it has anything to do with the supernatural, guidance in your life, reincarnation, symbolics and what have you.

But - for me too - this is all becoming a bit too much to deny: there IS definitely something fishy going on here. Any suggestions? I'm totally in the dark here. Since 6 months my life is going smoothly as a babies bottom: new job, good pay, good health, family and relation going great, in short: I'm happy!! The only bad thing that has happened is a motorcycle accident, my ol' cat dying (but both of these were much longer ago) and the new cat getting run over by a bleeding bus... All things concidered, I'm doing really well. Is this story then some brooding message about awful things that are about to happen? I hope not. Of course these thoughts roam around my brain, no ho-hum for me, although it may seem that way.

ThunderStruck64

We have things that happen to us every day, sometimes these events we may draw meaning from, and then again, the ‘lesson’ here may not necessarily apply to us.
There could be “others” that witness or hear of these “events” and draw meaning from, Only they can say for certain.
It occurs to me that there is one who has been following this thread, and has not mentioned as of yet how they may feel in Re; “How one thinks about the possibility of” life after life, or that the “End” could be a “New Beginning”.
Perhaps this individual does not even BELIEVE in the concept of this, no verbal war here. I’m not about “twisting arms” that people should believe as I believe. All I know is that which I have experienced over time, and I am certain that “death,” terrible as it is (getting “iced” by a bus) is not the end,
(no, not EVEN for ‘cats’)
However small and insignificant a situation may appear to some, I.e. “your cat” I am certain that nothing is lost; “Meaning” can be/is everywhere, all you have to do is be “open” to see it.

...and to tell you the truth, this cat watchamacallit is not the first funny thing that ever happened to me, I get washes of extraordinary coincidences every once in a while. That is, of course, ME thinking it's coincidences.

Like the following one:
I once had to go to hospital for some tests. When registering at the counter, the nurse said: "Ah, mr. De Vries, but you are already registered here!" And there I was: in their computer: Initials, last name, date of birth, place of birth, all exactly the same!! only thing different: this guy's adress. It was in Leiden, a nearby city.

Now: same name: not very surprising... De Vries is the most frequently occuring last name in Holland. But initials: J.N.A.C. Exact match! Now the odds for that are slim to say the least... And then: date: same day, narrows it even further by a factor 365. Same year: divide that roughly by 80....

As I saw this guys data on the screen I saw his adress, and decided to phone him (yes, it was a man too!) that same evening. I was very excited and told him who I was. His reaction: "So?" My reaction: "Yes but you do not understand! this is an unbelieveable coincidence!!! I think we should at least meet and have a coffee!!" His reaction: "I do not have the slightest idea why you are bothering me about this, please do not call me again!!". click.

I was knocked off my socks for about 3 days (so was my wife) and up to this day it makes great conversation on parties...(if they believe me...).

What to think of this?!? Interesting life?? I don't know...

If it had been me, I woulda wanted to meet you, certainly coincidences like that just don't happen every day. Especially when we are discussing the kind of odds against that sort of thing that you forward.
Wow! cannot understand this gent's reaction, (unless) of course, you may have been "victim" to "Identity Theft"- - Which may sound a little "paranoid" of me to say, but, anything's possible. And that sort of thing does happen in "America,'' paper-trippers can live anywhere. (I'd be anxious to check into this gentleman's background,) if he was,(stealing your identity) your call may have shook him up by "blowing his cover" and he may have "dissappeared".
(now this is starting to sound like the "Should everyone have an I.D." thread) seems to make a good case for it. . .
( :Ohwell: let's not go there from here). . . .

Haven't commented for awhile on this subject Dutchie. Way back I said that there may be something that joins you and the ppl together and we couldn't figure out what it was. Maybe we were trying to find it in the past when really it is in the future. As you see, now you have something in common and probably will end up cat minding each others cats. From small things large things grow. With regard to whether it is a good sign or a bad sign I think you will have to sit on the fence and react accordingly. I think it is a mistake to take sides at the moment. Be cautious. Sorry to put a dampener on this but cat's dying should be considered a warning. Especially under these circumstances. It could all be good but I would tread lightly.

Well, the thing is - these people, the owners of the "new" Spook - they're not very compatible with us. You know, it's like they're nice to have a drink with and a bit of small talk, but friendship - no way... Funny, eh?!?

I Agree. I wouldn't go out of the way to make them new friends. Keep it on the level it is at. You would agree that all of this has some degree of weirdness and although we haven't worked it out yet I would stay alert.

:Llol: Can't wait for the Sequel. . . "Dutchie's Cat" (The Movie)

"Parents strongly advised. Contains subject matter not suitable
for children 17 and under. Graphic depictions of both Animals and Humans slouched over computer keyboards reading. . . And reading. . .And reading. . .

(The above may work in the theatres, but I fear editing may ruin the work for television. . . )

Whadya think, Dutchie? [should we punch-up a script?]

Just Kidding! :rollin: what I was thinking, was a man who commands multitudes of ''killer cloned cats"(sorta like that 70's movie that was with the 'rats') ya know, "Willard"

Anyway, this man would seek to dominate the world, and as an anticlimactic ending the man would transform into a man/cat antichrist figure, (only to meet his end). . . .

I'm open to suggestions. . . . :p

Please everyone, amaze us!
