optimum has a security software you can download right from this link
http://www.optimum.net/Lifestyle/MyComputer/Security
theres only one problem.. a big problem. one of the tools this security
download hass is the ca website inspector in ca security
if you use it online and if you point at somones http website
address. it shows that persons first and last name and address
and city even the zip..i can point to your webpage or domain
and know everything. if you go to google or ping search usaly
at the uper right corner of the screen and search for a website
it will show a list of search results. there you point the cursor
at the url without clicking. and it shows all about the site owner
i think this is ileegal. and i am looking into it

Kadunk has never heard of 'whois' .....
Welcome to the internet age Kadunk...every single link you click sends an IP ping to somebody else and from that IP ping people can get your phone number, Social Security number, Birth records , and even your SOOOOUUUULLL.
Nah I'm kidding about everything after the SS number... I learned my lesson in an MSN chat a long time ago when I bet a dude in a room that he could not call me based off of chat script. 10 seconds later I got a Brazilian dude telling me over the phone that I lost that bet.
POINT BEING: that super scary potentially illegal software you speak of right here http://www.whois.net/ and you don't even have to download anything. ...SO yeah... you might wanna include them in your law suit.....
