Yes this may have be covered before but noticing a lot of stories emerging lately.
Hong Kong's air pollution
soared to record levels Monday, the Environmental Protection Department said, warning that a toxic stew enveloping the city was a danger to the public.
Air pollution is causing the early deaths of up to 50,000 people a year and making thousands more ill - but the Government is failing to take enough action to tackle the problem, MPs have said.

I found this article which could quite easily happen.
Asian Pollution Could Impact Entire World.
Pollution originating in Asia is being lifted into the stratosphere during monsoon season, where it then circles around the globe for several years, according to a new National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) study released on Thursday.

This evening is earth hour at 830 PM EST.
I will pour myself a tall glass of wine and open the curtains
with my binoculars and sit and ponder in the dark for a
"little while" because pollution is NO JOKE and even though
this hour is for the global warming farce...
it really is meant for the
POLLUTION FACTOR.
Hell, it's good for the human soul to sit and ponder in the dark
and with a glass of red wine to boot.....that's a plus!
what have you got to lose?
