Is this like one of those scary movie franchise things or just a spoof trailer?

roflmao !!!!!!!!!

brilliant satire - I wish even 1% of all Avatar Haters could demonstrate this level of creativity, then we'd see some seriously funny shit instead of just a bunch of fucking whining, lol.

I especially liked that fact that the guys who made this spoof know their shit;

Star Wars was basically a rip off of Kurosawa's 'Hidden Fortress.'

The Matrix was a complete thievery and the Wachowski's lost the lawsuit - this is more or less why they don't work in Hollywood so much these days (although they're Big in Japan, lol)

Harry Potter is just a revamped version of Bedknobs and Broomsticks mixed with Escape To Witch Mountain written by a woman who has no idea what sports are about (the Rules of Qidditch - sp)

Braveheart was a rip off of so many things it's hard to keep count, though if you look to Kevin Costner's Robin Hood you'll see some hilarious cross overs from one bad movie to a half okay movie (I like Braveheart even though it is a retread)

My Big Fat Greek Wedding was a rip off of Shirley Valentine and Fools Rush In

Muriel's Wedding is mostly original but the plot reads like a Harlequin Romance, nuff said

and Lethal Weapon ... was written by Shane Black who has managed to make a multi-decade career out of re-doing the same script over and over and over and over ...

brilliant satire - Kudo's and Two Thumbs Up at the 'embedded' ironic tongue in cheek as well as the overt mockery.

and at least these guys didn't just complain about the lack of original plot, They Did Something Creative instead of just bitching, lol ...

*edit* and I almost forgot, The Lord Of The Rings is also known as The Norse Eddas ... even Tolkien was just a rip off artist it seems, lol

"I will take the ring!"

LOL.

Freeing Willy at the end, though... that really did me in. :ROFL:
