Yep we all know many of us now leave uneaten food on the sidewalks well it does happen in the UK.
So now of course due to some ignorance it seems the probable chances of the black plague scenario could return with a vengence.

Of course this story suggests something quite different ocurring so again we as humans are changing habits within the vermin population.

AN army of rats is overrrunning apartments, stores and even cars in New York's Upper East Side - and locals blame a massive new subway project.
Yeah as usual the blame game!

Quarantine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quarantine_%28film%29) becomes reality anyone? That's the problem with big cities & apartment complexes coupled with ignorant citizens...as if Toyota didn't have enough problems.

The rats had chewed wires under the Toyota's hood, and started to build a nest from paper, he says. The smell of urine was strong.

This is old news. But if you want a little tasty tidbit, there is literally no restaurant, deli, or food store in New York City that doesn't have some number of rats and roaches. So the next time you are in your favorite bakery you might want to hold off on anything with chocolate sprinkles.
