I believe that there would be a possibility in eliminating the gene that is responsible for the ageing process. That way we could prolong life maybe 15 or 25 or maybe even 50 years. We just don't know how at this time. I'm no expert at this, but I heard it could be possible.

Energy you assume that all forms of energy have the same characteristics, Atoms are all different in their make up, though hydrogen atoms are all alike they differ from helium atoms and gold atoms. Energy forms are like this, some are atomic energy, some are vegetable energy, some are animal energy and others are human energy. This is a simplistic way of looking at things but it makes the point that each of these energies will revert back to their natural state. The aging process has to do with your life force, we can all live to be well over 100 years but we allow the things of this world to sap our energy and kill our life force. The aging process is controlled by faith alone, if we believe in life and live according to that belief it slows down the aging process, while if we lose faith in life, we become dead and the body starts to age more quickly. This process is can be seen in all walks of life, most alcoholics use alcohol as an escape, not wanting to be a part of life. It is not the alcohol so much that speeds up the aging process but the desire of the alcoholic to be finished of this world. We have within our means the energy to sustain our lives for a greater period of time but we allow the world to drain our energy and then refuse or fail to refill it every day. We eat the physical food that we need each day but fail to go to the well for the water of life.

I completely agree.However,those studies have supported views of the ones who believed that there is no life after death.
