I do believe that terrorists will hit us or try to again. I do think the bush administration is using the fear factor to their advantage as much as possible. The only thing is it does not matter what party is in office this is not going to end any time soon. What ever party is in power will say they are better at protecting this country. This is a new political issue that is here to stay.

Al Queda has been trying to attack us for years, so he probably isn't lying.

How convenient that a "massive attack" is coming just before the presidential election.

Is it possible that Bush might use that attack as an excuse to cancel/null the election and declare martial law? Provided that the attack does really hit hard.

Spine, I was thinking the same thing a couple months ago when I first heard that statement about Al-Crapa being 90% complete for another US attack.
Also, how do they know they are 90% complete, i wo9uld think you would need some pretty good intelligance to know that, and if they had that, you would think they would be able to stop them.

I do beleive that is a rational thought process. Its not that they could stop them its that they "we" would not want to, even if they could! We will endure another retaliation. good day to you both.

alright jjserio, calm down for a minute here. What do you expect congress and the president too do? You don't think there planning any of this out on the floor? Do you want them to reassure the public nothing is going to happen and straight out lie? or Would you prefer a calm minded Congress and President who are working through the situtation and trying to stop the terrorist instead of causing Mass Panic? This isn't a "conspiracy" made up by Bush maybe if you could see past "everything is Bush's fault" and take the facts for what they are you'd have a better understanding of why there being calm. Personal I don't want Mass Panic because Mass Panic would equal Marshal Law and do you really want that? oh and one more thing whats wrong with Big Business? It fuels the economy.

Put away your tin foil hats, alright? Al Queda has threatened us for years. Just now people were bitching there was no warning from the government, so Ashcroft told us about the warning so those people could not bitch if it happens. Some of you people are a wee bit too paranoid.

If you warn the people. There mad because you haven caught them yet. If you don't warn the people there mad because you didn't tell them. It's impossible to make them happen if you warn them or not it still fuels the bitching...
