I don't where to put this question:On this or on Technology forum, but I decided to put it here!
Even dinosaurs who ruled the 160 million years have been wiped out forever. But humans have developed technology defend themselves.Intelligence and the high-tech is the best tool in the hands of modern and future man. Will humans be able to control weather, and be able to dstroy asteroids, comets and raise shilelds over the Earth to protect it from some supernova/hypernova?Will nature give enough time to man,so he can accomplish this-to have enough advanced igh-tech,or it will just playing with us like toys?
My conclusion is no matter how advanced we are,we will never be able to control nature in any of its parts.
Come one even if we understand one day completely how the nature works,we still wouldn't be able to control, any part of it,at all.
Even though,we're the most successful, advanced and intelligent species on Earth, our intelligence can be taken away easily as it was given to us?
We would never be able to control the nature or any of its components from its smallest to its largest parts.
Besides,nothing is forever/eternal,not even,not even the universe.
How long we would rule the Earth?
Your opinions on these subjects,please.

Plus,no other civilization lived forever, even if there was a perfect balance, sooner or later it would end, but, however,it would last much, much longer. The cause of this is natural-you simply can't beat the nature!

I believe once a species becomes the dominant species on a planet it is heading for doom. Everything needs balance. The population of humans will continue to grow, crippling the Earth's resources. When a predator becomes too successful, the number of its prey start to diminish.
Fish stocks across the world are falling sharply, supply can't meet demand. Vegetation can no longer grow in many areas because all the nutrients that the soil can offer have been exploited beyond containment.
One large natural disaster would tip the balance. When crops fail, the vegetarians can't become carnivores again because the animals would be effected in numbers of reproduction and starvation. The worldwide human population is struggling to maintain itself even now when there have been no serious threats for 10s of thousands of years.

OK,i completely agree with you on this. But let's suppose we have the balance in humans' growing populationmand economics, and technology and everything else connceted with humans.Everything should have balance in order to survive as long as possible. But even with this balance everything would have end.
Many say:All good things, end. But they also forget that all bad and evil things end, too.

Of course all things end. All the things I'm talking about accelerate the process drastically.
