Seymour Hersh : The US government has videotapes of boys being sodomized at Abu Ghraib prison.
"The worst is the soundtrack of the boys shrieking," the reporter told an ACLU convention last week. Hersh says there was "a massive amount of criminal wrongdoing that was covered up at the highest command out there, and higher."

Great post hh. Shocking news.
When the Arab world gets their hands on this information (if they haven't already), Al Qaeda is going to have 10000 new recruits. :crs:
Good luck with the war on terror King George.

Left from center. Do you have any other nonpartisan sources of this?

the problem is not that this is "left from center" IMO... it is that it is from a completely incredible source. CNN is left of center, Fox News is right of center... they are both credible though, even though they do spin things.

just because informationclearinghouse describes thier intent does not make it credible to me... what you provided is a link to how they view themselves. They are full of a lot of uncorroborated crap, and they will stay that way until I hear something credible from someone credible.
For instance, while Matt Drudge may be right wing, many credible mainstream news sources cite him because his news is real news, whether he focuses on news the rightwingers like or not. on the other hand, he doesn't make up stuff as incredulous as infoclearinghouse does, that is absolutely unheard of even in leftist news sources who would LOVE stuff that they publish (and love to cite it) if only it were true.
About the spectrum, if you had read the link, it was an equally incredulous source saying that Zimbabwe was trying to ban colors on the TV, and thus ban certain wavelengths (that would make those colors they want to ban) in the spectrum of viewable electromagnetic waves... I was not talking about banning you at all- I would never ban or illegalize any opinion, no matter how inane it is- I was simply refferring you to another peice of crap fake news story. =)
Hope we've cleared things up.

more like, if they had a media outlet willing to air their stories. Ever hear of Greg Palast?
what was that journalist's name that lost his job because he spoke the truth at the opening of the Iraq War? Not Geraldo, when he gave away his location on air while with military assets. don't you understand that if you are too truthful, you won't be aired? what do you think happened to Dean? he said one too many truths, so he had to be character assassinated.
>About the spectrum,
ignore it, its not newsworthy. Even if CNN reported on it, I couldn't care less because its a distraction more than it is news.
I like information clearing house. It airs news that U.S. mass media would not. Same with Indymedia. It exists because everyone else has "sold out".
