Former POW Paul Galanti:
"The Viet Cong didn't think they had to win the war on the battlefield."Galanti said, "because thanks to these protesters they were going to win it on the streets of San Francisco and Washington."
He says Kerry broke a covenant among servicemen never to make public criticisms that might jeopardize those still in battle or in the hands of the enemy.
Because he did, Galanti said, "John Kerry was a traitor to the men he served with."
Former POW Sam Johnson:
"Mr. Johnson recalled that his North Vietnamese captors played recordings of Miss Fonda telling U.S. troops to give up the war. "Seeing this picture of Kerry with her at antiwar demonstrations in the United States makes me want to throw up".
Former POW, MIKE BENGE:
As Mr. Kerry contemplates a run for the presidency, people must remember that he has fought harder for Hanoi as an anti-war activist and a senator than he did against the Vietnamese communists while serving in the Navy in Vietnam.

What Vietnam Veterans Think Of Bush
http://www.usvetdsp.com/story13.htm This is an article about Colin Powell and it is from 1995. However, the precedent for the lies being spread recently was set long before Bush ran for office, as well as those trained best in covering it up. The article was written by two Vietnam vets.

who cares about thier military records? it was 30+ yrs ago, and bush "went awol" and kerry served bravely while "committing war crimes" and "making up shit to get medals" ... who cares? it was so long ago, and both candidates are spotty on thier records... I don't care if Bush took down bin Laden himself 30 yrs ago. I don't care if Kerry ended the USSR 20 yrs ago... what I care about is what they will do when they are president. Now if thier record 30+ yrs ago is relevant to what they will do now, please let me know.... otherwise LET IT REST. Obviously Bush is not a crackhead drunkard awolian like he was 30 yrs ago. Obviously Kerry is not an American hating war criminal "piss on my medals and worship Vietnamese leaders" like he was 30 yrs ago. So get relevant or explain how decisions 30+ years ago while youngsters matter now today.
As I've said before, I've made stupid ass decisions less than 10 years ago that I will not make again (nor have I since then)... and we are talking about 30 yrs plus some here...

I agree with substand here 100 %. It is so easy to always slap someone around the ears with something that happened that long ago.. While present day relevance is less than zip..

DN.....
Whether bush is an alcholic 30 years ago and whether or not Kerry is a Vietnam vet....i dont care. If bush was really an acholic now he would have lowered the drinking age....if kerry was a true Vet he would have took it as a profession and become a commander.

That you can think for other people? You dont make any sense to me.
