About 25 years ago, my older brother was watching me and my younger
brothers while my parents were at work during summer vacation from
school. A friend was there as well and we were all in the kitchen cooking
a pizza for lunch. My friend and my older brother suddenly looked at
each other and said, "Did you see that"? I didn't see anything at all;
wasn't even looking in their direction during this. My other brothers and
I got them to explain what they saw. They said that they had just seen
someone walking from the hallway to the living room wearing what looked
like BMX Motorcross wear. They lost sight of the figure because the
kitchen wall seperated the living room. Both of them got really scared
as I sat there trying to figure what the hell was going on. As far as we
knew somebody had come into our house. They said in hindsight that
they had no reason to think it to be anything other than a person
because it wasn't transparent. All I know is that we searched that
entire house from top to bottom and never found anything. Even the
doors were still locked from the inside.

Later me and my other brothers thought that they might be trying to
pull one over on us. I stopped thinking that after me and my friend
were riding our bikes later that night. I would try to ask him more
about it and he wouldn't say anything. After a few minutes later
he pulled his bike over and put his head down under his arms. I
thought that what I heard coming from him was heavy laughter but
when he picked his head up I could see that he was crying. I didn't
doubt them after that. Never found out anything more about what
happened that day and my brother and my friend never talk about
it years later if asked.

Has anybody ever experienced anything like that before?

I have never had any experience like this, but I just wanted to say that it sounded scary - I hope I never run into an unknown figure in my hallway.

Well, i thought this one was pretty scary. It has freaked me out ever since i have heard it.

About a year ago, maybe a little more, my grandfather had passed away. We had gone up to New York for his funeral and came back a few days later to our house.

Anyway, my dad just told me this incident he had a month ago and i admit, it freaked me out because my dad has never lied to me.

Well, one night when he was sleeping, he suddenly woke up for no reason. He waasnt cold or hot or had to go to the bathroom. He opened his eyes and floating right above his bed, he saw a floating light hovering above his bed. At first he didnt know what to think. He could barely see it because he had just woken up. When hs eyes adjusted he took a better look at it and described it as a floating skeleton or a human that was slightly disfigured. At first he didnt know what to think, so he got out of bed and went over to the window. The room was pitch black and he made sure by checking to make sure that the blinds of the windows were closed as well as the door. He looked back and that thing was still floating there above his bed. My dad doesnt believe in ghosts but i do. So instead of waking up my mom and taking some kind of action to avoid the thing he just gets back into bed with the thing floating above his head. He closes his eyes for a few seconds and opens them. Whatever was floating over him(i think and so does he, that it was a ghost) was now gone.

I have also been freaked out in my own house by these kinds of things. Sometimes i will hear a very high pitched sound when i am home alone(the sound is not made by the wind, t.v., or house or people. It is a sound that i never have heard before. Usually the lights will flicker which does not happen at my house often. Then i will suddenly get the chills and have the feeling that something is watching me from behind.

I dont know exactly about my dad but after all of this, i am kind of freaked out.

oh, with that story, the incident happened right after my grandfathers death. He just told me this a little more than a month ago.

Have you ever heard your name called out when there was no one else who knew you around or you were alone?

For me, not that i recall. Sometimes my neighbor calls her sons name which sounds like mine but i dont know of any voices calling my name. Thor, has that happened to you?
