<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>it's the most side-by-side events ever... [/quote]
Well no it isn't, but when was?
How's about 1918:
1) war - all over Europe, millions involved, huge areas of land laid waste
2) plague - Spanish Flu, killed over 20 million
3) earthquakes - Puerto Rico, San Jacinto, Vancouver Island (ok they're not famous ones but neither will Turkey be in a few years)
4) famine - in Germany, caused by the British naval blockade. Presumably there was famine in Etheopia back then too...
Anyone beat that?

Actually, the signs ARE happening. And I'm not talking about the "biblical" signs -- the Bible has been so altered by so many politically-oriented people over the eons that I'm supremely skeptical. What I'm talking about is people's behavior -- when you see the birds fly south and the wooly caterpillars put on extra wool, you can bet thet winter's on its way. Well, the behavior you see among many other species, including humans, is DEFINITELY survival oriented. What about fashions? Have we ever seen such clunky, STURDY boots and shoes on women? Have we EVER seen such people's choice fabrics as denim, wool, Gore-Tex and oter SURVIVAL-type fabrics in the stores and, much more importantly, on people's backs? Look at choice of vehicles, of living spaces, etc. etc. etc. -- the signs ARE all there. 0]

www.geocities.com/servantJesus/then.html (http://www.geocities.com/servantJesus/then.html) God gave me a vision in 97, of the city which I live in being nuked-thats when I will die here is the vision-and more-www.geocities.com/servantJesus/then.html (http://www.geocities.com/servantJesus/then.html) from what God has showed me in visions, the iraq war will end in a nuclear exchange between iraq and israel, russia will attack america with a complete nuclear destruction, then china will attack russia------lots of nuking coming up-i will leave you with this vision-Indianapolis destroyed by a nuclear missile vision-recieved in the summer of 97-In this vision, I am in the street where I now live. I lived somewhere else when God gave me the vision. Looking toward downtown, the ground was coated with fire, that looke like molten steel coming out of the furnace going down the line. It had a popping, crunching, grinding noise as it raced toward me, and I could feel the scorching heat coming from it. Then a second one went off high in the air behind me. This was over about the Indy 500 race track. I turned and saw it flashing thru the smoke. I knew this one was going to take me out, because I jsut saw what the first one did, so I asked God a question, and He answered me, and the vision ended.

ever watch the discovery channel? Yellowstone is a massive volcano. Do a little research on it. There is a UW-Wisconsin Madison geological survey which also backs this fact up. The volcano itself is relatively flat with a giant magma pool under the surface. The ground there is steadily rising and pressure is building.

Yellowstone is a CALDERA supervolcano, look in the dictionary for the word CALDERA it means flat! There have been a total of 6supervolcano this on TLC, The Science Channel(satilite/digital cble only) and the Discovery Channel. Yes we are all going to die sooner or later but there is more of a chance that we will win the lottery than dieing in any of the ways described in this site|I so yeah

When the World's Largest Armies go into Battle against one another, and ALL end up as DUST from the White Horse of Armageddon, you will know for sure what is going on, as they will NOT escape the Lord, and, as the Book of Micah stated, this Man (the spiritual Soul is seen as a White Horse), whose Soul IS the White Horse mentioned, will be the Peace on Earth until the Lord returns. One Man will have his Soul used in this matter by the Lord Himself.8o

problems snoblems, i would just like to know what my soul has to do with the end of the world as we know it.i believe we all know exactly what is to come but there is some serious duality with our mind and our spirit. is it supposed to be that way? is there anything we can do to wake ourselves into oneness or does it really matter? we have already been saved, the world is backwards.

"i believe we all know exactly what is to come but there is some serious duality with our mind and our spirit. is it supposed to be that way?"
Yes, if I understand you correctly. Our minds don't necessarily want to do what is best for our spirit--it's a contrary thing.
"is there anything we can do to wake ourselves into oneness or does it really matter?"
No, there isn't, and no, it doesn't matter. 'Oneness' is a term used by some who believe that each one of us can achieve godness within our own selves and strive for that. This is contrary to the word of God (if you're a believer) and shouldn't be attempted, if you believe in God.
The end times will happen, when they happen, and there's nothing we as humanity can do to prevent it because it's pre-ordained.
Now, for the mention of the clothing being sold in the stores as a sign of the 'end times'. Well, let me think. I believe it was in 1977 that 'waffle stompers' were all the rage for men and women alike. You never saw so many people in hiking books, and trendy at that! LOL
Also wool, denim and so on a sign of the end times? I hardly think so. Both of these fabrics have been popular off and on for absolutely more decades than I can count. The late 1970s saw a surge in women wearing denim from top to bottom (denim shirts, skirts, jeans, etc.). As for the other 'sturdy' looking shoes we see nowadays, well, we wore the same styles back in 1972.

Oh, and maybe I should've also said, I don't let this stuff dictate my life. Yes, there are absolutely horrid things that are going to happen, and these things probably aren't what we think we can see on the horizon, but life is just simply too short to sit around and dwell on them.
Get out, kick up your heels, and enjoy what time we have left. And if you believe that God exists, thank Him for taking the time to care as much as He does. :)

The end of times is basically just a change of life as we know it. There have been several mass cultural changes in history, with many causes. War and natural disasters to name a couple. Whole societies have been wiped out so it can be argued from their point of view, "The End of Time" has come and went.

Ok, I am new to this sight. So far, I can tell most of you don't know what in the hell you are talking about. 1. Don't blame a nightmare on God. Just because you have a dream doesn't mean its a vision. 2. Yellow stone is not a freakin' super volcanoe. It is a caldera. If you did the research koolcatz you would know that. There is a big difference between the two. I do not beleive that it is going to be nearly as big as everyone on here thinks. If it does go up, it will only go where the pressure is greatest. For example, the "bulge" underneath the lake. The blessing there is the lake itself. It will act like a "suppressor" if you will. The pressure it exerts on the explosion will diminish the amount of energy and debris. 3. On the war thing, yes there will be a war, but its not going to be one of these pussy foot wars like with Iraq. It will be a full blown World War. No one will be spared from it. Nukes are every contry's fear. They are a last resort, and the only thing to gloat about afterwords was who lived 10 minutes longer. I look at everything on hear with a scientific view. If you don't do that then you will just spend most of your time worrying about nothing.

Yellow stone is not a freakin' super volcanoe
There is no official definition for supervolcano, a BBC program dubbed Yellowstone that.
or example, the "bulge" underneath the lake. The blessing there is the lake itself. It will act like a "suppressor" if you will.
The "official" explanation of this is a hydrothermal explosion. A pocket of water/air superheated by the magma.
3. On the war thing, yes there will be a war, but its not going to be one of these pussy foot wars like with Iraq.
Do you value human life? An event where anyone dies, I wouldn't call "pussy foot"

Yes I just sneaked it. Good point about the naming of supervolcano but it is becoming a pretty standard term and if any caldera deserves the title at this moment in time it has to be Yellowstone. The link I posted is the full script from that very programme. :respect:

Here are some facts you may not have thought of that may/maynot give you an idea if we are in the end times; First, start at the begining, God created the world in six days and humans on the sixth day, on the seventh day he rested. I've been to many biblical websites and the majority have a timeline that says jesus came to earth in the year 4000. Add 2000 to that and we are now in about the 6000th year of man. 1000 years are like a day to god so if the end times happen soon the next 1000 years of peace when Jesus reigns will be like Gods 7th day of rest. There has been talk here at AO abou "this generstion not passing untill the end times are complete" There is something left out of that though, the jewish temple has to be rebult for the prophecy to be complete. The temple will be built in Jerusalem. So the generation was not born in 1948 when Isreal became a nation, but in 1967 when in a war the Jews recaptured Jerusalem. How long did that war last? Six days. Humans are Gods finest creation, doe'nt it make that in the end times he wants as many saved as possible? How many people are on the earth today? About six billion. Finally the prophecy states that the gospel will be spread around the world so every individual can accept/reject Jesus themselves. There are alot of tv ministries but i'm thinking about the Mel Gibson movie "the Passion of Christ" It's not beyond God to use Mel Gibson, a devout catholic to show the world how much Jesus suffered for us. That movie has been seen around the world and has made much money. How much? Six hundred million dollars. Are all these sixes coincidence or is some larger force at work? In the end you decide for yourself.

Jul 20th, 2004, 10:09 PM
Man I wish I could roll that many sixes in Warhammer.lol
For all the people that said I don't have facts backing up my words in my post, I read the yellowstone forum for a week solid. Following every link that was posted in them. LotRfan, you could probably consider me one of your biggest fans. I have read all of your post. One question I have for you though, is how can a hydrothermal explosion cover as much area as people say it is going to? Do you beleive the lake is that big? Also, how does ash get thrown from heated air or water? I understand that it is going to be an explosion, but the steam will rise upwards so how can it take the earth with them? I also understand that everyone uses them interchangably, but if you read the definitions on them they aren't the same. Just a thought.
On the war, I do value human life. When I say "pussy foot" I mean its not an all out war. Any war is bad, this one just isn't as bad as it could be. This war is basically another Veitnam. The war that will cuase the destruction everyone describes in there post would be a war more like WWII. Except everyone has nukes this time.

What the hell is that guy talking about? Yellowstone is not a super volcano. That is news to me. Number 1 under the lake is not the only place they are having the uplift. Nor is it the only place they are having geothermic activity. If it goes it is going to be in a big way I am sure. I know this because I have seen the warnings at Yellowstone to not get in the springs due to the fact that they have had people boiled alive in them. Also the pathways have been closed off due to the leaking of sulfer gases as well as they are at times so hot....the ground that is that it could melt the rubber off of a pair of tennis shoes. And you are going to sit there and say that it is no super volcano? I must tell you that the thought of someone out there so ignorant on the subject makes me very uneasy. The funny thing is I have to rely on other sources because it is something nobody here in MONTANA will even talk about. Even if it is brought up. Yes I am in Montana and yes it is a concern for me. I know that it may not happen in my life time but I also know that volcanoes are unpredictable and I also know that there is some things going on at Yellowstone that could mean it is gearing up for something big. Old Faithful is not as faithful as it used to be it is not spouting in the same patterns. It is varied in the eruptions. kind of odd. Tell me again that there is not a super volcano under Yellowstone. This happens to be my favorite debate.

I am the man sent by God, with the word of God, you are searching for.
I know not which order you will read my responses to you but even in reverse order it says the same things.
It is easier for as camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom. The land was never to be divided or bordered and the salesman and money changers are not allowed in the (temple) world so it changes everything because you have to give back the land and busines's that distribute the land that you purchased illegally. I am here to change and standardize the path you are on by changing to the non profit system that the world was designed to operate in peace and prosperity under. You have had since the beginning of man using mans ways and now it is time to make the universal conversion to Gods Ways.

The reality will be food shortages, energy shortages and maybe some civil unrest due to these two factors of both the middle east war, climate change which there will also be a world recession all at the same time.
2008 will be the year that will test the human race.
We are certainly aware of the fact that 2008 will be one of the more difficult years for the EU and the rest of the world no doubt.
With the report on Iranians trying to blow up us ships, there is now a new propaganda video about on the net,so that will only infuriate Iran, maybe russia maybe north korea.
All three factors may come to head all at once in the coming months,we are facing harsh uncertain times ahead.

1 John 4:1-3
1 John 4
Test the Spirits
1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
I'm now on TESTING of your SPIRIT...(^^,) i'm just following what the BIBLE says. OK I'm a friend Don't worry....(^^,)
and the TOPIC again is the SIGNS we are waiting FOR is on it's PROCESS a great TRIBULATION

JohnB1,
In short you will know him by his amazing works and strange ways. Man has never before performed at my level or at such a speed. I understand the Word from the books you recite to be of different meaning, more in the way a child would understand. The words you put no enphasis on I consider the core values of my Way and the stories you debate of scenes meant to be comparative you take as litteral. On the other hand you understated my abilities as a man theoretically, I can perform at levels you have never imagined possible. Your preachers are off course and ineffective and your leaders stand against everything the religious books say Christ stands for. Educational records will show that my understanding of the Way came at a very early age and I have done everything I could to systematically challenge as many of the worlds leaders and systems that I legally could in ways that both taught what to and not to do. I have posted on this site some documents of one of my last legal encounters right at Y2K which was nearly identical to what Jesus was put through for acting and talking and challenging the same way. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts did fight a two year war with me in 5 court houses in regards to my defiance towards them and my claim to be the Christ, they lost every step of the way. After many hearings the Commonwealth did present or witness enough prophetic evidence to clearly identify me as the true Messiah. It is not every day that a man defends his legal rights and challenges one of the largest and most dangerous legal authorities in the world in front of a court house with a compound bow and razor tipped arrows over his shoulder. Just how against the moneychangers and the salesman do you think Christ was when he turned the tables over in the temple. Furious is the word for his actions and rightfully so, this planet was not to be divided between you and sold to the highest bidder. You do not have the right to build an army to protect what you cannot own.
Back to the basics:
No lines on the map
No dividing the land
Learn war no more
No salesman
No Moneychanger
The above fundamentals are the Way and only a unified universal non profit operating system can govern this planet. That is a kingdom where no one owns the resourses and equal opportunity is garanteed.
I promise all of you a new world that will never again faulter into the chaos that has brought the planet to this pivital point in time. With what you have learned how to do, the restoration and security of the planet can be achived very quickly using the simple system that I and Jesus before me propose.
