Are you old enough to gamble? Aren't you the squeaky-clean boy? NASCAR is cars going around and around and around and around at high speed. Respect to the guys who take part but I've got some paint drying here that I need to watch.

The simpsons is my abosulte fav. Show. but hey atleast they play it 3 times a day now. (weekdays) I don't mind when nascar bumps it.

Hey, now NASCAR is alot more then just going in a circle look at everything in it. It takes just as much skill if not more then any other sport out there.

Coming from someone who was born into a family where the race was as important as dinner and knowing what goes on behind it, also having been dragged along to a few, it is a boring thing to watch. Drag racing is more my speed, the races are short sweet and to the point. NASCAR went down hill when they restricted the Dodges back in the day because of the other car companies whining that they couldnt keep up with them. But I guess they had to do something to keep the races going to put more ppl to sleep. Yeah like Thanksgiving dinner, it even puts my dad, a hardcore nascar fan, to sleep.

DOdges are back in nascar now but they suck now the chevys are dominating :D I never have liked dragracing thought it was to easy no skill involved in it racing for 400 miles and comming back with your car running now that is skill

I think Drag Racing is more about a person's response time. Its something you can improve on to a certain degree but its basically a skill your born with.

I don't really get a big kick out of cars driving in circles. I do enjoy the crashes.

That's the way I feel about Downhill skiing. Great taking part, lots of skill and guts involved but only intersting while watching if someone takes a major tumble and winds up wrapped up in the security fencing with one leg facing North and the other facing North North-West.

BTW PM88, you can change your title now so it's not "prophet"... you can set it to whatever you want.

Thanks MM, I'm battling with my discordant mind. Soon I will commit to something.

Why commit to a title? Change it according to your current state of mind. I'm getting ready to change mine again. Hehehe. Go ahead, experiment with your skitzo side. :D

LOL.......agreed....Nascar is boring to watch....I can't understand how guys can sit in front of the TV for 3 hours, watch cars go in a circle and get wasted.....just doesn't appeal to me...
I do bet watching it live is fun though.....and I know I would get a kick out of that...there is a speedway about 15 mins from my home.....I just haven't gotten around to it yet....
later....

Going to races is a blast im going to the Busch Series next weekend at pikes peak the Colorado 250. But anyways When I watch the races Im usally doing other things as well though I have two T.V.s so on Sunday one is devoted to NASCAR and the other video games I couldnt watch the entire race all day.

I'd dare say it's more exciting to watch it on tv...I went to an indy car one and you blink and the cars are gone. Of course I was in the vip area with scores of food and drinks available , so that kept me entertained :)
