U.S.-led Coalition Forces on Eve of Collapse - KCNA News Analyst's Article -

"Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- As already reported, the Philippines finished the withdrawal of its troops from Iraq on July 19. It brought to five those nations which completed the pullback of their troops from Iraq. Spain, Honduras, Nicaragua and Dominica already withdrew their troops from the country.

After occupying Iraq in April last year, the U.S. had suffered from a shortage of forces. So it could not but entreat the United Nations for support. It raised a "compromise proposal" for replacing the U.S.-led occupation forces with multinational forces for the stability of Iraq and letting the United Nations play a leading role in the Iraqi issue and had it adopted by a narrow margin as a resolution of the UN Security Council in last October.
With anti-U.S. and anti-war sentiments growing stronger in the world, Spain announced its decision on its troop pullback from Iraq on April 18, prompting other nations to withdraw or reduce their troops from the country.

According to the Washington Post July 15, Estonia, New Zealand, Norway and Thailand are now planning to get their troops out of Iraq.
Portugal stated that it would keep its troops in Iraq only until November this year. On July 18, Poland announced that it would considerably reduce its troops in Iraq from the beginning of next year.
Meanwhile, Singapore, Moldova and other nations have taken steps to diminish their troops in the Middle East country.
It is the view of foreign media that the coalition forces are now on the eve of collapse. The situation is a result of the Bush Administration's unilateral policy of aggression."

Did they ever think the troop draw-down might be because the Iraqis are increasingly taking over responsibilities?Of course they didn't,they're Communists.

This month's death toll of Iraqis in Baghdad alone has now reached 700 - the worst month since the invasion ended. But we are not told.

Much of Iraq has fallen outside the control of America's puppet government in Baghdad but we are not told. Hundreds of attacks are made against US troops and others every month. But unless an American dies, we are not told.

The American-appointed "government" controls only parts of Baghdad - and even there its ministers and civil servants are car-bombed and assassinated. Baquba, Samara, Kut, Mahmoudiya, Hilla, Fallujah, Ramadi, all are outside direct government authority.

The Justice Department has launched an urgent investigation after U.S. civilian authorities in Baghdad failed to keep track of more than a $1 billion, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

Investigators have found multiple examples of fraud and abuse in millions of dollars worth of contracts to rebuild Iraq that used U.S. taxpayer and Iraqi funds.

Word of the Justice Department investigation spread throughout official Washington late Sunday.

People in the Phillippines wanted the troops to come back a loooong looong time ago. According to polls, over 60%, this event is kind of the "last straw". The Phillippines has a debt equal to 70% of it's GDP, and 1/4 off the budget goes to paying it off. Threy also have a 30% poverty rate... All because of the 1997 Asian crisis ofcourse. They have more problems at home, and dont need more abroad...

I still wouldn't take North Korea's word for it. They publish the Diary of Anne Frank there and claim it is the biography of a girl living in the USA.
