Hi all, just a thought in between my exams

Rev 13:18 says " let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast : for it is the number of a man; and his number is sixhundred threescore and six." (666)

The numerical code is popularly used today by numerologists as a way of decifering names. If we use these systems to decifer Mr Bush's name....

George Walker Bush
By using the three different systems, Alphabet, Pythagorean and Chaldean
each time we come up with the number 6. This gives us 666

However if we use his name as the first 6.

Mr Bush was born on the 6th of June 1946, by adding these numbers together we get another 6. If we take this to be the second 6.

And thirdly......

Mr Bush was enogorated(sp) as President on 1st January 2001 by adding these numbers together we get a third 6.

Giving us 666 this may be somthing in nothing but the chances of another world leader coming to power and giving us this number is approximatly 517,000. This means we would need another 517,000 world leaders to come to power before we would encounter this again.

Well, the 3rd anti-christ is supposed to be from the middle east. Bush is from Texas(?). Also, Bush did not steal the election -- he won via the laws set in the constitution. Lincoln even won the same way (electoral votes > popular votes). As for your other claims, well, they're rather far fetched. You could also say the Mark of the Beast (which is supposed to be 666, not money) is Mark McGwire. He is big (beast-like) and his name is Mark! or Marcus, the company that owns KFC! Truthseeker777 your article has some merit and is worth investigating further. But what I want to ask is, if George Bush is the antichrist,{a christian concept}, then what will happen if he loses the presidential election? Will he still have any power to even be an antichrist? If he truly is the antichrist then one of the following should occur:-

1. The apocalypse including the death of a third or two thirds of mankind should happen either before the presidential election this year or within the next 4 years if he wins {or steals} office again. It is the nature of the beast to be a thief.

2. He will attempt to implement some kind of barcode or micro chip implant under the skin for each person in the guise of an ID card, etc,thus giving people the 'Mark of the Beast'. This may replace credit cards one day.

3. It is said that the beast will have a fatal wound which will be miraculously cured. Well if an asasination attempt is made on him and he's miraculously cured then I might start worrying.

Most likely, he's just another person of demoniac mentality in a long line of fools who prep their egos at the cost of everything else!

Those are good questions and I will be first to discard the theory that GW Bush is the infamous third antichrist if someone else becomes the President of the US, but this is unlikely because the 2000 election was a presidential coup d' etat and 9-11-2001 a further military coup against the american constitutional republic. The neoCON's are simply not going to give up the throne, especially since their politics is treasonous and they could be criminally prosecuted if out of power. They are more likely to become ever more insane and vicious like Hitler.

If Bush and company are removed from power, I will then keep looking at the Presidency as the source of the antichrist because the beast system has to part of the worlds remaining military superpower. I do not believe that the beast-antichrist can come from the middle east because it is impossible for that region to project a world government. All their military equipment is bought from elsewhere with oil money. Only an industrial superpower can produce a military superpower.

I absolutely do not "believe" in the bible as "truth" or as a book to look to for historical accuracy. It is a book of fables and ancient myths reworked. Noah's Ark, Jonah's whale? Pure myth. I know many christians who sincerely believe that the earth is 6,000 years old, although most of them have no idea that number originated from Bishop Usher in 1645 who calculated that the earth started exactly on Oct 26th, 4004 BCE. Modern day christian fundamentalists are not well read. The whole idea of fundamentalism is to discard reason and put the mind in a state of faith. I often say that faith is the green pasture the mind is put to rest.

Likewise revelations as fact is nonsense. Is there going to be a rapture - apocalypse - second coming? If enough people believe in it, yes. If I tell you the future with perfect certainty and you believe me, then that becomes reality because the human mind is creating the whole illusion. I myself am not a christian and nor do I believe in the absolute truth of the book of revelation. I do however keep an open mind to the possibility of some truth being in the bible.

If you were to look at the fanaticism of many believers in Islam and the anti American sentiment around the world, you might see that there is a possibility that an antichrist type figure might come from a muslim background or country. People in the middle east will follow blindly anyone these days that's anti christian or anti american. Does anti christian mean anti christ? - someone against the teachings of christ?

So Im not sure if you should only look to america as producing the anti christ dictator. It is possible that a harsh dictator could arise in the middle east, especially in todays political turmoil in that region. I dont discount anything and it wouldn't surprise me either.

Napoleon, while bad, was not nearly as bad as other dictators. If going by the definition of AntiChrist for "world domination", there are quite a few others that could fit the bill a lot better: Genghis Khan, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Mao Zedong, to name a few.

If going by "kill lots of innocent people", Napoleon isn't even close to the top. Stalin, Mao and Kim Sung Il take the cake there.

Nostradamus is a very questionable in terms of "predicting" anything, anyway. His quatrains are very vague, so you can only look at them in highnsight and say "oh! That's what he meant!! He was predicting .....!!"
