Tonight we can get a little glimpse of the light show.!!!
Tomorrow we could be slightly B-B-Q'ed :birthdayg

Knowing my luck it will be cloudy, although the one last summer or the summer before was very 'spectacular' indeed.
I love watching stuff like this... it's best to be prepared though. You know, tyipical sky-watching stuff... beer... smokes.... duct tape... etc.
I look forward to the show :D

For those of you that watched it how did it go?
All we had were clouds all night, it also didn't help that it was 8 am and quite bright so i didn't see a thing!

I saw one when I was leaving from work around 1am. It was pretty cool, lasted like a second the one I saw shoot by.

Well while the Persieds meteors are said to still be seen till the 18 i now class them as gone ;)
What else is there for us star gazers to look at?
Meteor Shower Date Constellation
Orioninds 16-27 Oct Orion
Taurids 20 Oct-30 Nov Tauros
Leonids 15-20 Nov Leo
Geminids 7-15 Dec Gemini
And the comets:
Tempel 1 With a magnitude of 9.5 June 2005
Chernykh With a magnitude of 10 October 2005
There are a few more up until 2010 but ill list them later! :)
