It's not graphic, but that isn't my message.

Here you have an American Helicopter - firing into a crowd of people. Their goal was to 'destroy the military vehilcle' - but I guess the dozens of INNOCENT civillians standing around wasn't reason enough to abort. Men - women - and children, 13 killed in total.

This is pure insanity. 2 1/2 months since we turned over 'soverignty' and you heard it yourself - police and military don't control nearly as much as the US government would have you think.

Surge of Baghdad Violence Leaves 60 Dead (http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/story.jsp?&idq=/ff/story/0001%2F20040912%2F1544126187.htm&floc=NW_1-T) - At least 37 people were killed in Baghdad alone.

Please tell me what this has to do with our war on terror.

Saw it on TV. Horrible. And no, this has NOTHING to do with war on terror. This was totally unnecessary and could be compared to the abuse of prisoners in the Abu Graib. Plain sadism. :grind:

Its the same thing isreal does when they go after an hamas leader. Fire rockets from helicopters at cars with lots of people around. Never heard anyone complain about that. Sounds like the US is taking a page from the idf on fighting terror. :btchn:

True. Definetely a dumb move.

"Alright, we targeted the enemy...too many civilians in the way." "Go for broke." "Alright, let's make the move."

Thats was pretty sick thinking. Right on par with quite a bit during this war.

Oh yeah, thats right. The war is "over".

This war will not be won with firepower, it will be lost with stupidity and bad PR. :grind:
