I dont know if anybody knows why, but "Why are there so many natural things that are spirals in the universe?" Like spiral galaxys, and hurricanes, tornadoes(in a way). Not to mantion many things rotate like a spiral. I mean, i know that the ones on Earth are affected by things in the weather, but why so many spirals? Any ideas?

Spirals tend to be caused by unequal but opposite forces. Such is the case with tornados and hurricanes, as they are both believed to be caused by cool air overriding warm air and forcing it upwards. The spiral motions of galactic bodies and such are caused by unequal gravitation force. A simple example of this is when you put your hand flat over water and push down, and it causes a little whirlpool.

So my thought(not posted) were right. For weather, i knew the temp(warm hitting cold) affected the spirals.
And for galaxies, my guess was gravity.
Thanks for clearing that up.
