OK so i hear that the lunar eclipse on October 27th is apparently the opening of the Sixth Seal and then after the Seventh the Seven-Year Tribluation period starts. So i have two questions to all the fellow christians out there. Is the moon the sixth seal and what is the seventh?

This is not the answer you're looking for, Dude, but its the way things are.
People in our generation(s) think we have a right to knowledge, but knowledge is a gift that is given to us from God. In this case, the question you're asking is about the Tribulation and the Tribulation is linked to the return of Christ, and that info is not given to us.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
From Matthew Chapter 24: Jesus said:"30"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
...... and then:
36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[6] but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
If God wanted us to know about the return of Christ (and the timing of the Tribulation), He would have told us in the Bible. If He did, you'd see people sinning like crazy right up until the 11th hour (before the return of Christ), then repenting at the last minute trying to 'sleeze' their way into heaven in an insincere way without being truly devoted to God. As it is, we don't know the day or hour and we should treat EACH day like our last and love God with our whole heart.
Don't know if the eclipse is an opening seal or not, but I think we'll have to use hind sight to see if it WAS a seal opening. I think we'll be able, at some future time, to look BACK and say yea or nay, but it's not given to us to KNOW in advance.
Not the answer you're looking for but I think it's the best you can get at this time.

Matthew 24
32 "Let the fig-tree teach you a lesson. When it's branches become green and tender and it starts putting out leaves, you know that summer is near."
33 "In the same way, when you see all these things, you will know that he is near, ready to come."
34 "Remember that all these things will happen before the people now living have all died."
35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away."
Just in case you were wondering what was left out of the last post? Probably just to save space and time. It's nice to get the full picture though, don't you think?

Playmaker:
You're right... it was to save space (and reading time for everyone).
Just like in the other thread, my NIV says something different:
Matthew 24
34I tell you the truth, this generation[1] will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
I've always taken "this generation" to mean 'it will occur before all the people on this world are gone'.

Hey Mickey,
This isn't the only world which God will create and people. Not in space, as in somewhere else, but in time, as in some'when' else (although this argument is not suggesting that AREN'T other peopled worlds now). The reason, as I have stated in other threads, is that it sez in Revelations "and then there will be a new heaven and a new earth".
Now for another topic: BUT it DOESN'T say there will be a new people. I don't think the Bible tells everything, just what we need to know while we are here. Anyway, Jesus said (paraphrase) "Those that do the will of my Father in Heaven, those are my mother and brothers and sisters " This INDICATES that in God's Plan, reward is 'service based'. In other words, you have to do something (obey God) to be something.... OK, so how did Jesus get selected by His Father to be the Savior. Obviously, He was selected by His Father BUT what criteria did God use in His selection???? Most likely service. So when did this occur??? Not on this world. Jesus 1st appeared on this world physically as the son of Mary (and God) BUT Jesus said to the pharises (paraphrase) "before Abraham was, I am" so where (or when) did His service to God occur????
Just something that makes you go hmmmmmmm....

It's not healthy to read the bible literally...
You do realize that the Bible was pieced together by humans right? We picked which books we wanted to be part of the collection we call the "Bible" and which are canonized due to all the forgeries that was going on right?
The bible wasn't just divinly put together by God and given to us...
If you were to actually look back at the culture and politics at the time you'd see there was much pressure for a messiah. The jews were in dire need of one and there were multiple messiahs propping up around the region. If you wanted a 'true' understanding of God, it'd be best to look at the history/culture and politics of the time to completly comprehend the concept which you profess today.
But unfortunatly you use only your Bible I'm guessing...
