MetalMilitia's Rant (It's been a long time)

It is nine days until America goes to the polls, and already an army of lawyers working for President Bush and his opponent John Kerry are engaged in an intense legal battle in what is shaping up to be the most litigious election in US history.

Across the country, an unprecedented number of lawsuits have been filed, challenging basic election rules. Lawyers are flooding into Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and other battleground states to prepare the ground for victory.

Everywhere I go I read about how if the election is close in the "key states" bith sides have THOUSANDS of lawyers on standby to challenge, interpret, or question the results. That's fine by me, so long as it stays legal; but what about the HUNDREDS of stories in the last few months of VOTE FRAUD and UNRELIABLE EQUIPMENT.

What a perfect way to steal an election. You have record numbers of people using early or absentee ballots. ( http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A55598-2004Oct22.html )

For vote fraud to work, it must appear that the candidate engaging in fraud could have won anyway. If candidate "X" is down twenty points in the polls then wins the election, taxpayers will be suspicious. Stealing an election requires polling numbers that make it look like the fraud is winning anyway. And that, in the end, is the real reason that despite Kerry's post-debate lead, the media polls have slowly edged their way back to claiming that the race is even.

Before, during, and after Election Day. Before Election Day, they are employing such dirty tricks as improper purges of voter rolls, use of dummy registration groups that tear up registrations, and the suppression of efforts to sign up voters, especially blacks and students.

Is there a massive vote fraud scam in the making? How the hell can you say the process is democracy in action, when I have just provided all of these examples of vote fraud, faulty equipment, and dirty tricks?

With so many legal minds looking for problems and such combative attitudes on both sides, litigation seems inevitable - especially if the November 2 tally is close. Furthermore, how can the actions be carried out to CHALLENGE the election if there are ALL these examples of fraud? How can the election itself even be held to standard?

Yup.

funny thing is that international observers are going to the us to watch over the elections. First Afganistan now the USA. Shouldn't that tell us something?

Well, here are some articles i found when googling for 'un watching us election'

I just started using the web for research so i can't say much about the reliability or the bias of those pages.
It's on you to judge the information and form an opinion anyway.

(Dick, [the Butcher] speaking to Smith, [the Weaver], Sawyer, [accompanied by a multitude of people] and CADE, paying homage to the multitude would it be that he would be king).

Dick, (after speech from CADE): The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers.

. . .Hey. Don't lookit me! "Shakespeare" wrote the thing! (although WAS he unto something?)

There has been too much news that has come out about this to ignore. It swings both ways between fraud or no fraud, almost all towards fraud.
