Some of us are more savvy than others when it comes to computers. And even less of us have worked in the tech field and know the ropes. This forum is for sharing tools with the masses, tools that can remove viruses and malware, tools that can safely optimize an operating system, tools that can simply detect details of a motherboard so that someone won't buy the wrong card. Here we offer helpful tools both freeware and shareware.

RULE 1 – (the only one)
There's only one rule here, and that's warez of any kind is strictly forbidden. Software must be at least freeware, and shareware is permitted – and that means even trial software as long as you can vouch for the veracity of the program. Anyone who submits tools from warez sites or cracks will be instantly banned. Lastly, to ensure safety here, do not make a post with only a link to a website. You must present the tool you wish to share, explain why it is viable, and provide your own thoughts on the tool's validity. This isn't a place for soliciting software, it's a place for those of us who know what's what to share our tools, and that means explaining them to some degree. Feel free to copy+paste the developer's description of the tool you share, but be sure to add your own experiences to the post.

If you have a tool you're unsure is legitimate, please PM me first before posting a link and I will check it for you. It's best in this one place to ask permission before acting than to ask for forgiveness later. You won't find much forgiveness here if you link to an infected file.

Seems strict, but this type of forum could open too many plagued doors. We just wanna be sure anything found here is perfectly safe.
