I am far from racist... however there are steriotypes attached to every race, and steriotypes are atleast 50% truth...
Now is it just me or dose it seem like China and Nkorea are just waiting....
watching the USA at war in the middle east... studieing our technology and our tactics.... just waiting for the right time.... intrestingly i believe that time will be when the USA goes into Iran... china and Iran have been doing alot of bussenes lately...
Or mabie the chinese are just waiting for the USA to bomb that nuke facility in N korea.... Kinda waiting for the USA to throw the first punch, so to speek...
See i think the chinese are gona wait a little longer ... till the USA army is streached very thin... and then china is going to move into taiwan and say.... what are u gona do about it USA

[QUOTE=WasteLandWa|2rior]I am far from racist... however there are steriotypes attached to every race, and steriotypes are atleast %50 truth...

There is a stereotype that all Middle Eastern people are terrorists. I know that only a very tiny percentage of the ME population are terrorists.

Now is it just me or dose it seem like China and Nkorea are just waiting....
watching the USA at war in the middle east...

So is every other country in the world.

studeing our technology and our tactics

It's called trade... We studied Japan's techonlolgy(fuel efficient cars), England's technologies(TV), and a lot more other countries. Are we waging war on them all?

And what tactics?

intrestingly i believe that time will be when the USA goes into Iran... china and Iran have been doing alot of bussenes lately...

Because their supply of oil is running out, and need more sources. We did that with Saudi Arabia in the '60's too...

and then china is going to move into taiwan and say.... what are u gona do about it USA
Hong Kong techniclly is under Chinese rule but you still have the same rights as if it was in the British rule. I think China has much too many problems than to worry about Taiwan.

Well with the recently proposed/passed law by the chinese which basically states if taiwan seperates legal war can be declared upon them. Not to mention the threatened sanctions by Japan on North Korea (which
North Korea basically threatened with war if the japanese followed through, which they recently decided to reconsider) I think we should keep an eye on this more than Iran atm, possibly.

I don't consider that burning. If you consider this burning, you should see some of the more touchy threads, like in the religion forum.

Seems to me that China would prefer NK not have nukes... I could be wrong, but I could be right too.

There was no hostility in his post. He just responded to some of the questions you brought up, and showed where your thinking may be flawed. What's wrong with that? That is the epitome of learning and discussion.

I think China has much too many problems than to worry about Taiwan.

From my understanding of the situation, China worries a GREAT DEAL about Taiwan. They have their own government and basically what could be called independence, except for the fear of Chinese takeover. China worries a lot about Taiwan officially declaring independence because it will be a slap in their all powerful communist faces. They could not sit back and do nothing because it is such a dishonor, but they cannot do something about it without risking war with the US.

your totally right...
ever since the communist recolution in 1949 in china ... we have been on a collison course with them...
Interestingly after the americans nuked hiroshima and nagasaki a general...
A general named MacAurthur reccognized this threat (communisim in china)
and preposed to drop nukes on china to cripple the comunist movement in china...
.... let us not forget what happend in tienimen square...
this was a perfect example of how BRUTAL the Chinese communist goverment can be... 3000 students slaughterd....
everyone was to afraid to talk about it in the days, months, years following...
till this day... in comunist china ... im sure people are still wheary of who they speek to about the massacare

Please read this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiananmen_Square_protests_of_1989):
Estimates on the amount of casualties vary very much, actually, but your 3,000 goes way over the highest estimate.
I don't think you can compare the current Chinese administration to the one from 1989, to be honest. China has grown very much since that time, and it's clear that the Chinese government has come a long way from where it was in those days.

Not to be conspiracy theorist or anything, but they DO have absolute control of the media. It IS possible that they have become better at controlling what news enters, and in this case, leaves the country.

They have become a bit more open, but I have still heard horror stories. I have to admit, its nothing I can confirm especially because it came from a Taiwanese "ambassador"... but I'd be more apt to beleive him than the Chinese government, even though he had/has ample opportunity and motive to lie.

>but they cannot do something about it without risking war with the US.

true, i agree. however, if we were busy in the ME with our own wars, an opportune moment would present itself. hey, they are even having military exercises with Russia. I think they know its coming. We beat Russia, after all.

Ive heard that the chinese are conducting a amphibius assault millitary exersize
just off the coast of taiwan...
chinas all just like (nuddge nuddge, wink wink,)
and Nkorea has recently test fired a long range balistic missle over the skys of japan...
that would be some scary shit to see...
thing is ... china wont attack america unless america throws the first punch...
and yes even though invadeing taiwan would be see as a frist punch by china through american eyes. If america intervened into taiwan, china would see this as a first punch... ( i would assume)
