I have heard of this theory... I thought soaking it in pigs blood was more ironic, but the problem, obviously, is that you can't publicly threaten such a thing. So I wonder, if this is true, how they would have gotten word to bin Laden.

This must be a bogus theory, for a number of reasons.


if GWB really nuked Mecca, it would mean total world war between the whole of the islamic world and the USA;
I highly doubt (like subs) there is a secret communication channel between Bush and Bin Laden - the POTUS would NEVER take the risc for a channel like that to leak to the public, creating the largest scandal ever;
I doubt Bin Laden cares if Mecca gets toasted. His motives are NOT at all religious. A real muslim would never resort to terror.

Bin Laden may have brain, but it's the size of a pea. I just feel that he is not the main culprit, behind 9/11. He's being controlled by someone else all together. This is just one of my many theories. Maybe I think too much.

Bin Laden's goal is a world wide Islamic theocracy ala The Taliban.

He may not have planned 9/11 personally, but he was definately the founder of the organization that did.

If one sets off a bomb in mecca of any magnitude it will most likely trigger another world war. It is the center of worship for the second largest religion of the world after all. No one with half a brain intact would like to do something as this.
