This morning I had the weirdest dream...

The dream starts out with me stairing up at the sky at the clouds at my parents house. Well the strangest thing about the clouds was that they had the appeared as the old Windows 95 desktop wallpaper "Clouds" but tiled.

My parents house is on a hill and is out in the open so we can look out into the valley and the mountains. Well I notice that the entire area is ingulfed in flames. Even the grass was burning. Then I rushed to my parent garage basement to grab a water hose to keep the flames off the house. Well then a white van came storming into the garage and ran over me. Two men that I didn't know rushed over to me and preformed CPR and gave me oxygen.

I woke up.

No, i hav dreams like that all the time, it puts random bits of memory in to one big dream. A few days ago when i woke up, i was so tired, my alarm clock went off so i unplugged my ps2... Yep! Started with the controllers, then the power socket. I just leaned out of me bed to do it. It was weird, then when i woke up hours later i was like 'What the hell'!

I believe I have been working on the computer too much... I had a dream several nights before that one I told about in the first post. I dreamed I was at church and the only thing that the peacher would talk about on Sunday morning was SCSI. I mean it was so bad that there was a neon right above him with the Letters SCSI. First thing I thought of after I woke up was "Dang, I need to go church more often."

I love talking about dreams. I have dreamed about everything. Everything from Armageddon to living on the moon at a Lunar Apts. I even had continuation dreams that lasted for 2 nights.

wasnt sure where to put this...if in wrong place please move

i have this re-occuring dream where i am in a really bright white room in the middle of the room on a chair ..i see it as a fly on the wall...i can see myself sitting there...then these men wearing black suits come in and surround me and start talking to me ...altho i cant hear what they are saying...i then look closely ..at the mens faces and they have the face of an alien{the typical big black eyes etc} one of the men/aliens look towards the wall{that i am seeing it from} and stares for about 10 seconds ..then the men leave...and then i normally wake up... this is really wierd and have it quite often does anybody know what this could mean?

. . .Nice to have you here. :2thumbs: Now, about your dream. . .

Might I suggest? a "Hypnotherapist?" The reason I say this is that your "dream" really doesn't sound like a dream, it sounds as though you are relating an actual experience that may have been so terrifying as to leave an indelible mark upon your psyche', which is why this 'dream' is replayed endlessly in your sleep. The human brain is quite a marvel, whereas it can even have the capability to protect itself from harm by the rather convincing idea that it could not have happened/it must be a dream.

. . .This is a possibility, although there could be many other possibilities that is causing this, and Hypnotism MAY reveal the causative factor.

. . .Again, Welcome! Stay around awhile, check-out all the subjects in the different threads, we're a great forum that has something of interest for everyone! (We even have some great 'perks' for contributor status) you may like to see. . . :toast:

. . .IF indeed I did. From my viewpoint, I'd hate to 'dream' something like what you experience every night, I hope for you that you can get some kind of help in this/perhaps put an end to these dreams once and for all.

Sounds like you were having an out of body experience while these creatures were talking to you, the fact that one was looking might show they could tell and could see you.

Like Joe says, if you want help, maybe a hypnothrapist would be a very good idea.

Good Luck

and if you get any results and don't mind sharing them, plaese do, im sure others and myself would like to hear them. =)

I dunno, maybe I'm just a hypocrite. I can believe that armageddon is on its merry way, I'll believe in ghosts, OBE's and such, and I won't completely discount the possibility of UFO's. I like to think I have an open mind. But I have to draw the line at "hypnotherapy." There has probably been more psychological research into hypnotism and memory than any other topic, and most of the evidence says that hypnotism doesn't really work. It really sucks as a tool for recovering "lost" memories. What it DOES do is put a person in a relaxed, slightly-below-conscious, and ultimately suggestable state, where while they might actually reveal a hidden memory, but are much more likely to run along suggested lines of thought and make things up as they go along. This research is why testimony augmented by memories "recovered" through hypnosis generally doesn't hold up in court, and many therapists and lawyers avoid it like the plague.

i highly doubt that faceless is going to try to use his recovered memories in court. he simply curious... at least that is how i understood it..

Is that how you quote? Anyway, Ive had a continuous dream on 1 occasion. I was asleep at my grandparents house. I was about 12 yrs old. I was dreaming that I was in an all white apartment with a realy bright sun outside. There was a female showering in the bathroom. I was in a living room without a TV set. I was sitting on 1 of the 3 coushined couches. I woke up. I went back to sleep. I was back on the couch... I got up and walked to the restroom. I woke up. I went back to sleep. I opened the restroom door. Then i reconcidered my actions, afterall I didnt have a clue as to who was in the restroom. I left the restroom, woke up, and went back to sleep. I knew i was asleep. I went into the restroom and into the shower, witch contained a beutiful woman.. She gave a strange look, and continued to screem and curse at me. I figured - this is a dream, ill just wake up and I dont have to deal with this- So i did. I never returned to that dream...

I found it quite amusing that i could wake up and return to the same dream

I was never able to do it again

Also, Ive never went a whole day and continued the same dream. It was more like 1-3 mins bfore i went back to it. It was cool...

Lol its wierd what things we will do when we are not thinking.

One time I woke real early :2early: up to the RADIO blaring loud music, so what did I do? I got up, and unplugged my T.V, when that didnt work, I thoght the Thing was possesed , but then I came to my senses and realized T.V's dont play radio.

Another time I woke up hearing my cat meowing, and instead of seeing what my cat wanted, I went and flushed the tiolet, when that didnt stop the meowing, I became confused.

Yeah its real wierd what we will do without thinking...

I hate waking up during a really intersting dream, its like halfway reading a book...and I can never seem to return to a dream once I wake up from it.

I did that before. Sometimes though I go back to it like five times...that usually happens when it's a dream which dictates the future. My mind must be doing this to inform me it's importance. and I find your previous story pretty funny lol things you do when you're tired :grin

Okay, so the other night I have this dream that I'm in a movie theater. The scene on the screen was a "Matrixed out" Asian woman chasing a guy through a house and shooting at him. The man ran into a room that looked familiar to me,and then I recognized the room as being in my house, then poof, I'm now in the room and this Asian chic is now chasing and shooting at me. Just about everyone has seen the Matrix, well, that's how I was running and that's how she was chasing me. It was not a pleasant dream. lol
