Those of us in the peace movement knew. We tried to warn the nation, we really did... but the American public was so terrified by the propaganda following the 9/11 attacks, that they believed everything the warmongers told them. Here's an editorial from last May.... reminding the public about the BLATANT LIES they were being told.... and it made no difference.....

Number of times George Bush mentioned that a portion of Saddam’s oil money went to providing free education and health care for all Iraqis: ZERO
We knew, we warned, we were ignored....

Saddam gave $10,000 to every palestinian suicide bomber's family. That right there is enough reason to go to war with him, IMO.
I know there are other regimes that support terrorism, but just because you cannot stop them all, does not mean you should not even try.
