i was wondering if anyone knows what the exact real meaning of the matrix trilogy is..i read one place that neo was satan even though it doesnt seem to make sence..and then another place that said he was representing jesus(makes sence to me). anyone have a good understanding of the trilogy and or have a link that does? thanks!

well i have a way of seeing it. the oracle is like people who see things before they happen. the architech is like God i guess. and the hole meaning of balance...it just reflects of life and tells you that there is both good and evil and etc. neo i guess is christ and smith the antichrist.

I think you're forgetting one important thing. None of the movies made any sense whatsoever. Trying to find a hidden meaning behind the matrix is like looking for the meaning of life in a pile of dog shit.

The meaning of the matrix is to make money for the investors that put up money for the flick. They're called "executive-producers" when the credits roll...

No hidden meanings as far as I can see... unless the 'hidden' meanings are hidden from me and I doubt that cause I'm WAY too paranoid.

Course, I enjoyed (and have a copy) of all three.

yes it is, I don't think it's only purpose was to make money, I think it was to help us think of life and what it actually is
