Well im by no means a bible thumper or one of those people that can quote Bible verses but my dad is (and yes im an adult) and i talk to him alot.
So anyways my dad said with the Pope dead the antichrist should be, could be or is here and will influence the next Pope. These are all signs.
If im 23 then the end of the world is within my generation.
BTW this is from a Christians belief(and many christians believe diffrent things for some reason :schizo: )
Anyways i amde this topic more of a thing for other chrsitians to post the info on this because ill admit im not good at it and my dad sucks at using a pc!
Please no debating because this is after all a religous board and we all know everyone hates religion already! :yikes:

Yes, it all sounds like :bs: to me. All these petty little, jumped up, fantastic theories.
Amazing though how easily millions and millions can accept that this sort of thing could've happened 2000 years ago?

A lot of people also think that cardinal "Lustiger" and Oscar Maradiaga are connected..on both the 666beast.net and uncoveringcode "Lustiger" and Oscar Maradiaga names both add up to 666, there also tipped to be candidates for the Papacy "New Pope".

Except you omitted that there are also millions upon millions who have easily dismissed the potential historical facts from 2000 years ago. Just because something sounds like "bs" as you put it, that doesn't mean it is. It only means it lacks credible evidence. That's why these sort of things need to be investigated and continuously researched, so that people won't have to jump to incredible conclusions. When it comes to any topic and subject matter, jumping to incredible conclusions is the most common and basic error committed. Without credible evidence, people can blindly accept certain religious, scientific, & political content or can blindly dismiss such information. There is no real difference between the two debating approaches, actually.

The greatest scientific explorations and discoveries were based upon a crazy idea or hunch. So labeling them as being BS could be regarded as being a little short-sighted. Could. As with all things, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. People of deep faith, can really profoundly believe in unexplained or unproven "facts". That's their choice, fine by me. But at the same time, I can understand why others would label those "facts" as dubious fiction (in the best case) or as utter bullshit.
People (like me) use sheer logic to make a division between what's credible and what's nonsense. Others use an ancient book. It's a tool, nothing more, nothing less. Debating these is what makes this site fun.

Just what is a POTENTIAL FACT?
I didn't say that Jesus' resurrection was bullshit (though I truly doubt that it happened), just that people so readily accept that it did happen against the absolute certainty that the resurrection of the pope, mentioned in this topic, is total :bs:
Therefore I feel I posed a valid question.
