Evolutionary adaptions...you choose!

Was thinking of making this into a poll, but 1, we have seen enough polls for the time being and 2, i didn't want to restrict you as to which evolutionary adaptions you can choose.

Ok! On with the thread! :D

If there were one evolutionary adaption you can see in the animal kingdom that you could have, what would it be and why would you choose it?


Personally, i would go for either changing my skin colour to blend in with my backgrounds/surroundings, or chloroplasts in my skin enabling me to perform photosynthesis (using the sun to create food, similar to plants, for those who don't know)

I would choose colour changing skin, as i love camoflage and being able to hide amongst any type of background or terrain would be superb and i choose the ability for photosynthesis because i find nothing more annoying than being outside performing activities and needing to stop for food

well, thats what i would choose, what about you guys?

I would want to able to eat just about anything at any time and survive off it. and by this I mean eating dirt, rocks, rotted meat, etc., and still staying healthy. if I could stop buying groceries and just chew on bushes or shrubs (when the neighbours aren't home, of course) it would save me loads of bucks and time (roasting a chicken can take a while).

of course I would want to retain my sense of taste, so I could enjoy the good food out there - so I guess that means I'd have to adapt to being able to 'shut off' my taste when I had to eat repulsive stuff.

oh, and I'd also like to be able to regrow severed limbs. not that I'm missing any right now, but one never knows ...

I would want to make my cells more resistance to oxidation...basically, I want to live longer.

Very good choice!

Mine would be simply to grow wings and be free, imigrate to Africa for the winter and so on. My other choice would be to have a bigger heart and better respatory system, so I could run like the wind.

hey why don't we keep on mutating? Hmm....

Anyways, I liked WaCkO's idea, I would definately have wings to fly, but no one else because we would need traffic lights and bump into each other and that wouldn't be as much fun.
