lol, totally!

Not only are Bush and Blair going attacking these countries for their resources I also believe its a religion war. They will not stop until;

a.) the coalition have aquired all resources and assets.

b.) The muslim religion and all supporters are eliminated.

They would of continued their campaign regardless if the attack took place or not.
What makes you think another country will be invaded, based on this attack?

The only reason we went into Afghanistan was because that's where the base of operations for Al Qaeda was, along with the head commanders.
Al Qaeda today is a network spread out across multiple countries without any central base like it had in Afghanistan.

Futhermore invading another country would be a stupid move right now considering that they're in Iraq and Afghanistan already (and stationed in other countries not worth mentioning) and war costs mucho $$$.

Invading Iran under these pretenses?

Not likely at all. Iran actually has a decent military and already being in other ME countries atm would be disasterous strategy wise. Not to mention the fallout and impact it would probably result in other Islamic states.

Resources and assets?
I dunno, looking at Iraq it seems to be a whole lot of smouldering debris, and considering gas prices just keep rising, perhaps the aquisition of oil isn't going so well.

Mulsim religion and supporters eliminated?
Heh, well aren't you one for pent up anger and resentment. How is this a holy war? Why would they want to get rid of muslims? Considering we have large muslim populations in our own countries and the basic fundamentals of democracy, that makes no sense.

Well, Halliburton already has the exclusive contracts...

But it does take 5-10 years for a normal oil field to come fully online, but with the security and infastructure situation of Iraq, it's more like 7-10+ years.

Why is it when the West is attacked, everyone immediately begins to criticize any military response? We should just roll over? The Islamic Fascist (No not all followers of Islam are fascist) started this, and everyone is all upset because we refuse to roll over and die. Countries and way of life are most often maintained through military strength, and not by singing Kumbia and we shall overcome! SHEESH! :nono:
