Check this out. I found what appears to be a missle flying over a city in eastern Africa on Google Earth:

If you want to take a look for yourself download it here and it will load the spot on your Google Earth program:

Well, it does look like a missile. I smell a large conspiracy here. Any way, that file took me to eastern South America, not Africa.

Doh! I spun the planet to fast and looked at Africa! Yeah you right its South America!
Guess What? I found Another One! This time in Australia (Got it right this time!):

And the file again for this one:

Only thing is this "Missile" seems cut off at the front. Which makes me think its not a missile. But then again you never know with todays technology!
I'm also noticing they only seem to have appeared over cities. Conspirarcy maybe? Or just something simple. :gossip:

I'd be inclined to say that looks like the glint of the sun that's been elongated by the sideways motion of the satellite. The slight refraction of the light around one end of the first one (what looks like the 'flare' of an engine) looks like you'd get from a skylight, plus the shadows and apparent corresponding angles of adjoining roofs would suggest that's what's happening ...
And if you apply correct scale, these would be absolutely huge missiles!!!!
Or UFOs ...

Yes it certainly does look like some sort of missile, also the propultion of the object looks strange. I really would'nt be supprised if it were a spy plane of some sort disguised or made to look like a missile.

Does anyone else think this is :bs: ? Look at the body of the "missle" , monochromatic. It looks photo-shopped to me. It looks more pixilated than the actual picture...

That's what I would of said. Ass, did you find these 'photos' yourself using google earth or from some website somebody posted. The 'missiles' don't even seem part of the original picture, the body is disproportionate, considering the scale, these missiles would be behemoth sized and coupled with the reason as to why these missiles would be flying over residential areas. The coincidence of you looking at that exact location when something travelling at what, 600 mph? is highly unlikely. I wasn't aware that google earth could even take real-time photos.
I'd say whoever did this should stick with MS Paint, as their photoshop skills are severely lacking.
If you indeed do this, you better save face by saying you were playing a practical joke or 'found' some website which posted these or something.

Not to mention if it was that bloody big then it certainly would have been detected. We do have radar and the sort over in Aus and I imagine a missile like that would have made a lot of noise.
I'm yet to hear anything about any missiles flying over Aus.

Actually it looks like a the original pic had a drop out issue or some kind of electronic scratch to me...

what if its a test missile, a new one that cant be detected by radar?

Whilst possible, there is no hiding the physical sightings and the immense bloody sound it would make.
Ever had a plane fly overhead? They make a loud noise and so do missiles.

I totally agree with the objections that was raised, Sun reflecting, Out of Scale ect.
Can a satelite even take a still pic like that with an object that moves so quick?
Anybodys guess what it could be really...

Ermmm not Photoshopped. Hence why i posted the link to the file because i knew people would say that. Just download Google Earth (its free and theres no catch) and click the link and it will open it up and bring you to the spots where i found them!
*EDIT*
Ok you dont need to down the program. Do this to see it. Go here:
http://maps.google.com/
Click "Satellite". So you get the actual images and not the drawn maps obviously!
In the search bar copy and paste these cordinates:
19°51'22.35" S 43°55'49.42" W
Thats for the first picture. I didn't try it because im headed off to bed but im assuming it should work like Google Earth! If not just download Google Earth and download the corrdinate file thing.

If all these are being found all over the world when google took the photos theres should be something to explain it. Like a glare of sun. Last time I check google earth doesnt update itself and remains the same so all of these googleearth hacks are bullshit.
That is either a glare or someting being photoshopped.

D*** WELL THIS SUCKS!!! Just when I thought i found some major conspiarcy or something I was wrong. So much for writing a book about my life!
Well after researching this at Google Earth website i found out for some strange reason the satelite "see's" a very small amount of glare some times as these weird "missile" looking shapes. They most commonly look like that. BUt rarley they look diffrent. They had a picture of what they sometimes look like in other cases.
Heres what it looks like (took a pic of it from my program):
