First I would like to apologize for any and all immature behavior on my part. From my heart I meant no disrespect, it is only that my values and beliefs are strong and my hope would be that we all share in my belief is selfish.

Truth be said I am very happy to have been apart of this community and that I was given a voice to be heard by people that I do not even know.

Second, I see that Mickey has returned and I am extremely happy that your return from your deployment was a success. Praise God. I know we have never seen eye to eye on anything, yet I harbor no ill will towards you or anyone that may think I posted anything offensive towards anyone personally. I humble myself and ask that you would forgive my ignorance and immaturity.

I must part with this: GOD is real. As sure as we sit in our seats and read these words Our Grand Creator is a living truth and testament for his love to all. Christ was the second Adam in which he provides a mean to salvation from our flawed nature.

I have seen the threads where we ask where God was when such and such happened. My answer would be a quote from a very Faithful man in Christ our Lord. Martin Luther, when asked by his wife where God was when their son had passed away at a young age said, "The same place God was when HIS son died."

It is appointed for man to die once, there is nothing to miss in this biblical statement as it is even a doctrine in evolutionary belief or naturalist. This is a fact, we all WILL die.

A few more key points I would like to share as my faith has grown in the Lord as of lately. Mainstream churches and seminaries are NOT teaching biblical doctrine but rather a lie. There will be no pretrib rapture, there will be no secret snatching away of believers in Christ, The 70th week prophecy was fulfilled long ago and this is not an even to take place in the future. To give the antichrist credit for the sacrifice of Christ is blasphemous.

I sincerely hope and pray that I do not offend anyone here as that is not my intention but only to spread the truth of Gods word. The antichrist is not what we have been taught. The Roman Catholic Church is the antichrist backed by scripture and thus a testament to the absolute truth in the Word of God. There are so many biblical prophesies being fulfilled even as we speak. No, I will not hold your hands and provide it all so you can be spoon fed. This is your responsibility and one in which I hope you ALL would at least test.

Sure, of course I'll take that God, blessed be he, is real. I'm Jewish! My ancestor wrote the Torah. Probably the greatest thing I disagree with that you said though is, when you referred to the son of G-d as being Jesus. The son of G-d actually refers to any individual who unites with the Shekinah, and thus considered a member of the nation of Israel. Israel is the 'son of God'.

oz, why are you leaving? Your voice is heard here. Your opinion is welcome and your ideas and thoughts as well. some may not agree but, life is about agreeing and disagreeing. I for one believe god gave this "free will" for a reason"

how can you explain things that aren't understood? Just because you have your opinions and thoughts don't mean it isn't welcome. We are all here to try to get through these things TOGETHER. And trying to gain an understanding to things we do not understand. I for one feel that at least by trying to understand what this life is all about and reaching out to other people IS part of a process. What that process is exactly no one knows. So you are a new person now, I think that's fab...but that doesn't mean you should leave AO because of how you may or not have behaved. If that was the case, then I know some other members who may be apt to follow suit.

I am no Christian but I think the Disciples of Christ would have jumped at the chance to spread his word in a forum such as the one that you are now choosing to depart from.
