We saw a Penn & Teller show in Vegas about 7-8 years ago and they were awesome. Their final trick was absolutely jaw-dropping!

I love Penn and Teller. I thought this episode was rather cheesy but it was definately enlightening and brought up things I had been thinking all along. Thanks for the post.

Okay, I'll try to explain it, but words probably will not do it justice. In a nutshell, Penn stood to one side of the stage while Teller stood at the other end. In between them was a pane of glass. Penn had a pistol and a single bullet. He called somebody to come up from the audience and this person took a marker and wrote their initials on the bullet casing and then drew a symbol on the slug - all of this was shown to the audience with a video camera and a large movie screen. Penn then put the bullet into the pistol and Teller was blindfolded. Penn aimed the gun at Teller and fired it. The glass pane that was between the two of them shattered as though the bullet went through the glass and Teller flinched as though he was shot. Teller then reached up to his mouth and pulled out the bullet that he had apparently caught with his TEETH! The video camera guy rushed up to Teller and showed the bullet slug and it had the EXACT symbol that the audience member had drawn! Penn then ejected the bullet casing from his pistol and it still had the audience member's initials on it! Pretty amazing stuff!

That does sound cool, but, not to be a nit picker, dosen't a bullet morph and disfigure itself as it flies out of the barrel? I know little of ballistics.

Sure fits FOX to make a program where you reveal magic tricks. Kinda spoils the fun of it...
