Now, wtf are you going on about and where do you live that "ladies" are only "looked on"? From my own experiences, you must live a pretty sheltered life if you think that. There is nothing wrong with one sex looking at another and appreciating the view. I do it all the time when looking at men. It's natural and it's people with opinions like yours that make looking at others and liking it "bad". Just because we are looking doesn't mean we want to get horizontal with everything that walks by.

I am a woman truck driver and because of my occupation I've been in some of the worst shitholes this country has to offer. There has not been one place, not one, where a door wasn't held open for me, where I wasn't adressed as ma'am and where I wasn't treated with respect. Even at the bars and strip clubs I've been to, I have always been treated with respect.

How does this happen for me?

I don't treat myself like shit. People will treat you in the manner you give them permission to. If you don't open that door, they won't walk in. By treating your own self badly, it's a psychological invite for others to do the same. I don't let them have it.

I could only hope that a guy will look at me and likes what he sees. It gives me that extra opinion that I am doing right by myself. I don't take offense at all. It's people like you that vilifile "lookin".

most 'Ladies' I have met have come from just about every strata of society - same goes for most of the 'Whores' I have met, and many of them were the same person.

Generic labelling begets it's own inaccuracies as a bitter harvest. Lady, Gentleman, Scholar, Sage - it's ALL relative to the POV of those involved in placing labels to begin with.

RESPECT is what matters. How you look upon a person is one thing, but if Respect is part of your equation then How matters less than you Do with Respect.

Well, what I can say about this subject shouldn't really be that limited.

I look at girls. Always. It can't go a single feckin' day without me looking at a girl. Even when I had a girlfriend (we separated yesterday ~,_~) I looked at other girls. And I'll tell you, it was not as 'ladies'.

Girls are cute. Girls are pretty. Girls have breasts. And girls have hips and bottoms.
And guys like all of those things (except for if they're gay), and it's not going to change.

Women are more free today than they ever were, there's not much of the heavy gauntlets of Christian culture pushing down on English society, and suppressing women. Of course, as with ALL things, extremes come to be. There is an abuse to freedom. But the progression we've made from the 19th century was more positive than negetive, by far.

If you stopped slooking at Aristocracy and the high spheres of society where women were (have always been in some way) influential and well treated and respected (but don't forget, abusing husbands and rape have alsways existed), you could see that women from low socioeconomic status were treated like shit. Stayed at home, cooked, waited for the husband to serve them dinner and wash their clothes. DUH!
No one would have ever held the door for those, and they were the majority. High SES people have always been oppressing, and low SES people have always been pretty dumb (undereducated for so long).
It's like 'oh I want to live in the 17th Century with Louis XIV'...and be an overexploited peasant? think first.

Oh and for the record I am seventeen and I am appauled at how women are treated and torn and frayed and all thrown about to the four winds. It is pathetic how high-school boys treat high-school girls and it tears me up inside to see what happens with these kids. I am homeschooled but my friends tell me tales of all this stuff that happens and the disrespect breaks my heart. I can't stand this and it's killing me. But than again, I could be wrong, treating all the ladies I know with respect and honor.. because I've had about as much luck with the ladies.. Well I've had no luck, cheated on, thrown about.
