Greetings all, I am a professional musician from Melbourne, Australia, and I enjoy a good discussion about the deeper issues. I go under the name Now because I like to stay current.

I don't think I'm Jesus, but sometimes late at night I like to pretend that I'm Jimi Hendrix. In a past life I was me, only taller.

I believe that the world is changing faster than the human race can comprehend, and that all politicians are bed wetters. I'm betting $20 that China rule the world by 2011, just in time for the whole thing to change a year later, when Papua New Guinea emerges as the new super power after cornering the world's ringtone market.

I have no political or religious affiliations. I have suffered, I have wept, I have renounced, I have rejoiced, I have sporned, I have wondered, I have surrendered and I have played Wembley Stadium. I am here, and I am Now.

Cheers.

NOW, I would like to give you a cheery welcome, BTW, thanks for the bitch comment!!!! You say you are a musician, from down under? What sort of music do you play anything I have ever heard? I read your other post and I will say that you will get blasts of crap from B-Nye but have fun anyway

Hey, thanks Cherisa. I'm glad you appreciated the bitch comment, I didn't want to be sexist and discriminate against the women here!

I've played in a lot of different bands over the years, and worked with quite a few artists here in Oz, whose names would be meaningless to anyone outside of here. Toured Europe in '98 with a girl named Tina Arena, and I've worked throughout Asia and many tours around Australia. Had a record deal through the mid 90's with a band called The Truth, got lots of radio airplay etc. It was a funk rock band, along the lines of Chili Pepper/Living Color, that kind of stuff. But I've played most styles other than country and jazz, they're just not my thing!

I'm ready for blasts of crap from anyone, bring it on! Love a good debate, you always learn something, even if it's when to shut up!

Thanks again for the welcome, you're very kind.

Now. (Geoff to you...)
