I have been a lurker here at AO and I really enjoy the tech board. But I was looking and I found nothing on the mecha being built by Carlos Owens.

If you ask me this man is ambitious on more then one level. He is also amazing.

His site that features his prototype is www.neogentronyx.com . This project has come to a current halt due to a lack of funding and seeming interest. So I hope everyone from here goes and checks it out if they havnt, drop him an email saying keep it up and maybe donate a few dollars.

I am very interested in this sort of thing. If anyone has anymore links on these lines then post them please.

It looks alright, and hopefully this one will take off if not the other guy.

Being the first humanoid anime style mecha in the next 25 years, I should hope it does work!

Welcome to the realm of posting Chiefwanabigmac. As a decendant of Native Americans somewhere in my ancestry, I want to welcome the leader of the McTribe to AO.

Anywho, I think mech technology, like all other technology, will only become fulfilled when a company decides they can profit from it. I think a need is there, but no company has figured out a way to capitalize on it yet. Carlos Owens is like Tesla playing with radio control boats in Central Park years before Marconi had his hour. Owens' time will come with the rest of the humans when Robotech type hell is unleashed. :sardonic:
