Hope you experts can answer my question.shyness is due to lack of having found your center. people whom are still discovering or hiding from who they truly are can be easily intimidate by others. lack of self-esteem, confidence, and purpose are the primary factors behind being shy. not to mention in this day and age nobody really thinks or believes things for themselves... everybody is just pretending to be someone, pretending to believe something, without realizing who they truly are. there is no individuality anymore... most people just try to fit in with a crowd; fearing to fall from the status quo or their peers.

This is simply described as a sociological conflict. Shyness is the opposite of social, no? To be shy is to fear interactrion. Simply.
